i heard that i dont have to use fertilizer when a plant is young... is this tru?

also can i use blood meal mixed with water n spray the plant?

wait untill atleast week 3 in veg before adding nutes.

no dont spray the plant with blood meal

well feeding has to do whit if your soil has nutes in it.
If not give them about 7days before you feed them and feed at a lower dose.

yes you put it directly into the soil but do it when time has passed.
does the soil have nutes in them already?

no i just took soil from my backyard, strained the dirt until it became very fine, baked it at 350 degrees to sterilize it, then mixed it with sand and a lil topsoil with perlite... is just blood meal a good enough fertilizer

yea for veg then you will need bone meal or some other flower food.

when they are babies just pour the concentrated ferts right at the base. no need to water. i heard you can even pee on them. yep, just pretend your plant is a urinal. watch out for soil splash!

thats odd i might not try that method to tell you the truth because pee is so acidic it might raise the pH of your soil by a tad

question: if i buy fox farms ocean forest + fox farms light warrior in a 50/50 mix, do i need to sterilize the soil before putting the seedling in it?

idk but im thinking that a packaged soil wouldnt be unsterile... i did it cause backyard soil can have a lot of dieseses n stuff
