Hey guys :-P

I have read the 101 questions, done a search, and watched some youtube vids. It seems that there is not surefire recipe or exact instruction nutrients. I want to find what products should be added on a specific schedule and how they should be mixed. Maybe this just doesnt exist?
I have grown without and have produced decent results (soil/cfl grows), but are nutrients the way to go to take this to the next level?

I just tried growing with nutes for the first time and it definitely added to my yield. Its kind of hard to find a guide on what products to use so the best thing to do is go to your local grow shop to see what they would recommend for each stage and also what is available. Then go do your research on the products.

If you really want a set of instructions, check out this thread...It seems to cover most brands.

I will probably get flamed for this, but go check out Advanced Nutrients I absolutely love there line, (yes they are WAY expensive) and they have wonderful tech support. You can give em a call and they ARE VERY knowledgeable about MJ. If needed they can even set you up with a custom feed schedule.

If you want a simple 2 part nute feeding go with maxigrow/maxiflower or the maxsea lineup. For a 1 part fertilizer from veg to flower there's veg+bloom. I've been using the veg+bloom and it's ok but not a real 1 nute solution. The 2 part nutes are probably the easiest to use you'll find that's still well balanced. The one great thing I can say bout veg+bloom is that the ph comes out perfectly with the ppm I feed my plants when using tap water. It's one less thing to worry about and not have to buy adjusters for. It also has cal and mag included. However I have to feed at 1.5-2x the reccommended dosage to get that ph and to make my plants happy.

Edit: I'm growing using coco, non hydroponic.
