I use the general Hydrophonics program its online, or on the back of the bottle I suggest go to the web site just enter the simple info, resavoir size, how long for each phase or skip some phases and itwill tell you exactly what you need. It is a program of nutes at differente phases. It really helped me understand the difference phases. these are six weeks

i've heard great things about both. advanced nutrients has a large line of products letting you custom tailor it to your needs/environments but can also get a lot more complicated. fox farm is a great nute not to complicated and i believe they're also organic (someone correct me if im wrong here)

Kinda on topic... if youve look at the youtube video of advanced Id like to hear your thoughts on their claim... Using them now but not for that reason. I just saw it yesterday and laughed

The only organic liquid nutrient from Fox Farm is Big Bloom. The inorganic nutrients from them appear to only contain slightly altered organic elements for the purpose of better absorption. Check this link, it explains it well.

I am having this same question running through my mind right now. I don't think I can accept the validity of an experiment ran by the owner of Advanced Nutrients. It may be true, but how can anyone truely know. Let us know your results Lennard.

I just reread the experiment excerpt and have a big problem with this:

Straumietis says he ran another comparison test that measured percentages of three cannabinoids. Again, Advanced Nutrients came out on top, producing 21.2% THC, and very low percentages of two other cannabinoids (cannabinol and cannabidiol, known as CBN and CBD), that limit marijuana's psychoactive effects.
The second place finisher in the cannabinoid percentage category was GrowTek, which produced 18.7% THC while also producing a whopping 9.09% CBD and 5.84% CBD. While CBD and CBN have some medical applications which THC does not, in practical terms important to those who want potent recreational marijuana, these cannabinoids can also reduce the psychoactive effects of THC

They arent giving CBD enough credit and I have never heard in my life of a plant under any nutrient condition producing 9.09% of it. Someone correct me if this happens though. I believe this experiment is clearly biased.
