Nutrients question

I've been flowering for 9 weeks or so. I was using some bloom booster from the retail stores that was like 3-6-4 or something low and its been working fine. I went to a gardening store and found some with 4-35-5 and some mylar and set it up last night and used the new nutrients and today i havent seen any "bad" effects BUT is it bad to introduce a hugh difference in nutrients late in flowering?

Remember you are dealing with percents. That 4-35-5 can also be read as 2-17-3. Also make sure your not pouring in nutrients to "fatten it up" so to speak. It doesn't work like that. You aim to keep the soil at a consistent nutrient level, and you replace whatever the plant uses up. Sometimes the only way to tell what the plant needs is to keep a close eye on it. If you don't see any deficiencies, either leave it alone or run a soil test.
