nutrients "mixed" shelf life?

Okay. So heres my issue. Im leaving for a vacation for 5 days. I could set up an autowater. And throw a feed in set it and go. Bingo right? Well my question is isnt there a 2-3 day shelf life on mixed nutes? Im running Heavy16 and I know the foliar is only a 2 day. But what if I make a res with a slow mixer in it? Would that keep it from settling and getting stagnant? I never really thought about it until now. Ive always been a "use within 24 hours of mixing" kind of person so ive never had to ask.

More like 2 weeks. Keep it aerated and you're fine. Normal reservoir change is 1 week. I let my reservoir go 2 weeks sometimes will no ill effects to the plants. Good luck.

That's more for the fact that you have to change because the nutrient is most likely 60% used by that time.....Depending on your add-back concentration ratio and how often you have to add-back with a hydro application....

Your right on aerated! For him a tank of mixed nutrient will be fine over his expected gone time....The problem is, "How much will the pH move in that time?"

Anyone have an idea on that? In all my years of growing. I've always had someone who knows how, tend to my plants needs when on vacation...

Well that's true. Will the res need more water? Will the Ph be stable for 3 days? Mine usually stays pretty stable until the end of the week when water is needed to add back in. But I guess it depends on many factors.

Using a half coco half soil substraint with around 20-25 perlite. Scrogging like the "west coast masters" book recommends (to a degree) and im sitting at 150% of heavy's recommended schedule. Thanks for all the info guys (and/or gals.)
