Nutrients and PH ?

Do I have to adjust PH everytime if I use nuts?

definitely if you use synthetic nutrients.if your doing a organic grow then you shouldnt really need to.

Organic nuts right? Like Biobizz or biocanna?

You have to check it before you know if you need to adjust it.

I use Roots Organics line of nutrients and when I mix for a feed the water will go from 7ish down to 5! I notice if I let it sit with an airstone for 24 hours it may come up to 6 on its own. Usually I add ph up.

Hydroponics, yes. Soil, no.

I think it's a good practice to check your pH regularly - especially with hydro grows. And if you're new to growing, it never hurts to find out if what you're doing is right or wrong.

If you're looking for a nutrient that's easier in terms of controlling pH, the pH-Perfect lineup from Advanced Nutrients is supposed to work pretty well. Personally, I've found that the more I learn about growing, the less I need to screw around with my pH.

Good growing conditions and regular check ups is always the best way to go about growing. But then again, I know a lot of folks who don't check anything and do alright, but it seems like risky business to me.

i agree with jack harer about yes for hydro and no for soil, its depend on what are ya use the grow system?

What everyone keeps getting confused about is that you are concerned with the pH of the soil, not the liquid going in or coming out. The pH of the soil (or properly limed soilless mix) will remain constant throughout the grow, and will buffer the pH of the nutrient solution/water as the solution sits in contact with the soil. The run-off hasn't been in contact with the soil long enough to have been changed significantly, so it is a poor indicator.
