Nutrient Problem (I believe) HELP!

So I watered my plants the other day and to this point all waterings have been nutrient free with a pH between 5.5 and 6.0. These babies are under 24hr fluorescent tubes and are about to be moved into bigger pots for the last 2 weeks of their vegg...So anyway I watered them the other day with a very small concentration of nutrients, about 1/4 strength perhaps even less. I use FoxFarm Grow big and Big Bloom. After the watering the plants leaves began to curl and brown. I gave them a light spray down with nute free water just in case the nutes were constricting flow from the root to the top. I flushed the plants in todays watering and perhaps it's too soon to tell but I would love some advice/how-to/help if there is anything else I should do and how should I add nutes if I'm getting this problem with such a low dose. If I am completely wrong and it does not look like a nutrient burn let me know as well. lol. Thanks kiddds!

Forgot to add that they are bagseed

nute burn shows on the tips. Sorry not sure what you have going on. might try to bring your ph up to 6-6.5

I'll definitely try increasing the pH on my next watering. Thanks for the input. If you know anyone that may know more could u let them know, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again!

Whats your medium. is it soil less? if so than a ph of 5.5-6 is fine. Did you ph after you added the nutes? How are you testing the ph?

Regardless you did the right thing with a flush. Try another feeding once you see they are recovering fine.

guess I shoulda asked, but it looked like soil.

This is a soil less grow. They are currently chillin in their A-ok cubes. I'm going to keep them going on just water for a little while til they have a stronger root base. When would you recommend testing the pH? before or after the nutes? I use the pH test kit with the drops not the strips. I use tap water and pH down to bring it between 5.5 and 6. I did the pH after the nutes this last time. Thanks for all the help thus far!

you might want to cut back on the big bloom if using in conjunction with the grow big, its basically p and K and you dont seem to need it at the moment, grow big brings the PH down by itself, i love the PH drops, try to keep it around 6 or in the gold area, so basically give it a test after you add the nutes....this just may be a PH issue like the other guy said she should be just fine

Thanks for the help...I was just shocked at what happened, but I guess it makes sense. I had a gut feeling that it wasnt the nutes and I had messed something else up. I think the slight discoloration after adding the nutes threw me for a loop which could be why I fucked up the pH. Again thanks for all the help I really appreciate it!
