Nutrient Defiecency/Bugs?

So lately we've been having a problem with some bugs and possible nutrient deficencys. The leaves are the plant are turning from light green to yellow and also curling under. However, this is only happening on some of the leaves of the plants. There are only about 4 plants out of 19 that we see this problem with. Anyone know the cause of this?

Next, we have what look like small flies that seem to be eating the plants. From doing a bit of research, it looks like they are gnats. We are using Safer and Soyanara currently, anything else we can do to get rid of them?

Are your plants always that shiny or is that from the oil in the soyanara. Also if they are mites you need to attack them at the source. Which is probably your soil. i would get some yellow sticky traps, they are like 3 bucks. And are you using the soyanara in the soil?

No it is the oil from the soyonara. We found a bunch of the bugs in some soil at the bottom of the trays, so we threw them out. I'll try the sticky traps out.

No, we aren't using it in the soil. Should we be?

could that be a nitrogen diff.. starts at the bottom of the plant and goes up .. older mature leaves??

It's actually more of the top leaves that are having the problem. After the leaves are yellow for awhile, they start to turn brown then die. We haven't been using any nutrients at all, but we just started watering with Bio Vega from Biocanna last night. We are using the full line of Biocanna nutes- Rhizatonic, Cannazym, and Bio Vega for veg.

Repl yeah those nutes should help you out then. I would definitely water with the soy oil. Gnats breed in the soil, and they feed on decaying matter and roots. You gotta get them at the source, if you just catch the flys there will always be a new generation in the soil. Hope this helps. Lamp
