ive seen it time after time again of young plants dying or half dying because the grower has used nutes too early.,..id even say to wait until like the 4-6th set of leaves..or 3-4 weeks..im no expert so feel free to correct me..just no nutes until then or you will fuck your plant up fellas.

I grow in FF Ocean Forest and Roots Organic soil.

I dont use nutes for the first 3 weeks after that I go 1/2 strength nutes for the first 2 feedings to ease it along. I've burned enough plants over the years to know better now

It all depends on what type of soil or medium you use. In straight coco for example you pretty much start feeding week one. Day one if you add some nutes when you soak your coco. In hydro day one. Many, many factors involved. The food in the cotyledons only last a few days.

Yeah, as Cowboylogic says,,,,its just what your medium is, my soil is MG with perlite, I go at least 3 weeks before they get nutes,, but then again I tend to go off how the plants look(leaves are yellow etc.) and if the soil has been leached , size of plant, pot ,etc.
There 's no set rule but soil normally provides all the food for the first weeks,,,,infact thats what I like about soil,as long as its airy enough it gives good rapid growth....

so yeah ,, we all kinda agree...ahaha

Take it easy
