Nute/Soil question

im so dope

When people use soils like MG and Sta-Green that say they feed up to 3 to 9 months does that mean no nutes are required during this period? I would prefer to not used nutes as I don't know much about them. I would rather just stick to a soil like MG that provides food to the plant, is that possible or will it greatly lower yeilds if so where can I find a article to help me get up to speed on nutes and what the tops brands are. thanks :hump:

with a recent self-study, I like the MG moisture control. a small grow bag for veg, then cut the bottom off and place on a pot of new soil for flowering. A *single* shot of a bloom boost at week 5/6 (like the boost instructs) works wonders.

MG is NOT the kiss of death. Feeding MG soil nutes *is* the kiss of death.

just pH'd water with MG proved (to me at least) better then the high $ of FF or Pro Mix for same/my strain.

33g vs 38g dried (per plant)

if you want crappy tasting herb than go ahead...organic is the only way....peatmoss,perlite,vermiculite,dolomite lime is all ya need...use alaskan fish fert 5-1-1 to feed after like 6 inches tall...wormsway.com is a good sight to find good nute, jus look under organic and read

That bloom boost? and you said you used MG moisture control isnt that different the the MG container soil that feeds up to 3 months?

The moisture control feeds for 3 months too (much like most of MG's soils)

The bloom boost I use if GH's KoolBloom its, I think, 3-45-3 forgot the 2 outside numbers, but its a killer P. But any ultra high P fert will work. Now does it pay to buy it for a single watering per grow? Doubtful.
