After i apply my nutrients should it make my room smell funny? I'm trying to hide this from my dad and I don't want an unfamiliar smell to give away my lab.

Dude, seriously? Thats just wrong if you ask me. God forbid he would invite a plumber, electrician, or a fireman, or the popo, or anyone else uncool into "his" house, and not knowing what "your" doing, its just asking for trouble...And I'll bet its trouble that your Dad doesen't really need (just a guess there)

Dude, what did he do to deserve all that?

I'd find a better place to grow...Thats the only help I'm really willing to give you....

The dude just asked a question about smell, not if it was cool to grow in his parents house. Why should anyone on these boards care? Its not like it affects anyone else's life on these message boards.

And to answer killizion's question, no, the nutes shouldn't make your room smell but I notice that when the plants get pretty big during veg, my apartment has a "veggy" smell.

One thing that does disturb me is killizion's name. Are you a jew hater? >=(

Chemical nutes should not cause any smell in and by themselves. Most organic nutrients have a tendency to cause a "smell." Organic nitrogen sources tend to smell as there are typically things like rotten fish pieces and parts, manure or blood based.

thats fkin weird! but just get one of those timed air fresheners fer your room werks wonders on 15 minutes! yea and who gives a damn!!!! u only live once dood! and u could die tommorow! fuk wat theyr talkin bout!

Ha, ha your funny.

Those room deodorizers are harmful to plants, as they are like spraying oxidants on the plants. Not good stuff to smoke either.
