NUTE LOCKOUT DUE TO PH!!! Have some ?s

It turned out to be nute burn on 2 of them. I backed off on the nutes and just watered and it all stopped. I'm still seeing purple on some stems on all the plants but I'm thinking my intake temps are too low and its getting really cold outside at night here but overall they still look pretty healthy. Thanks for the input though and the compliments. First grow this big and I wanna yield as much as possible to self sustain until I get my new veg tent and turn this one into flower.

Here's the progress so far everybody!!!! They are 26-28 days old as of today, betwen the 12 of them. There are 3 Snow Dawgs, 2 Cotton Candy Kush, 2 Dim OG Kush, 2 BC Kush, 2 Golden Goat, & 1 Tennessee Jed. Can you tell which strains are the same by there heighth and growing patterns? Its a fun little thing i do when im stoned and bored. Try and match the pairs. LOL!!! View attachment 2401608View attachment 2401609View attachment 2401610View attachment 2401611View attachment 2401612 Only 4 more days and they're getting flipped into flower!!!! Im SUPER STOKED!!!! Any suggestions on light schedule changes or watering right before or after flower? Im thinking of just giving them water as the lights come on, on there first night of 12/12. Or should i water then wait till the next feeding to flip into flower? Should i change the light schedule now to 18/6 so they can get used to the dark period? or will switching straight to 12/12 be ok? Any feedback is greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks for following all that have! 64 PASSED!!!!! FULL LEGALIZATION IN COLORADO!!!!! I LOVE THIS FUCKING PLACE!!!

In my experience water pH can be an important factor in a soil grow. Water with a pH of 8.2 was causing some probs in a friends grow. When he got a pH meter and realized how high his water pH was, he began adjusting it down to 6.3 before watering. Problems solved.

Having said that... your plants look great, I see no Mg deficieny at all.
you can ph the water all you want, but the soils ph is what you final ph will be. So adding stuff to lower the water ph, just makes for more problems-most times in soil.

yah, i'm not a big believer in ph'ing in soil as the soil is such a great buffer against ph that i don't really think it makes much of a difference what the ph of your water and or nute mix is..
i've read more than once uncle ben and fdd2black say they don't even own a ph meter, and have you ever seen some of the trees those two grow??

Too low a temps will cause phosphorous lockout. ie. purple stems

Stoned and bored, LOL
Get your woman to go in there and mix 'em up while you have your back turned, then it'll be more interesting. :)
Glad everything is working out for ya!

Thanks Bro!!!! I told the woman about it and she said shes gonna mix em up on me one day and test me!!! LOL!! I look at those ladies everyday, she could blindolf me and spin me around three times and i would pass, lol!!! I think im about to switch them into flower tomorrow morning though. They are all 15"-25" tall with the smaller ones being the indica doms and the tallers being the sativa doms. They all have about a 65 day flower time which is fucking awesome, cuz ill have buds not long after the new year. Hope all goes well with em!!!!!

Don't forget man, once you have leaf or stem discoloration like the purpling, it will not 'heal', it will stay like that, so don't watch it waiting.
Sometimes the purple is from cold, like mine was for a bit, then I had too much cold, for too long, and it turned into black, and the leaves ended up drying out and falling off.
Or, your purple could just simply be from strain if you don't know what she is, like me.

Yeah definately, unfortunatley I think it was due to low temps outside at night and thats causing it or was causing it. I think that will be done after tonight because i just switched to 12/12 with 2-600's running. I think i need to buy another fan to move air though. They are getting bushier by the day and I dont think that 1 is enough air movement once they start flowering and getting bigger. They are all going to double in hieghth and bush according to the info ive found on the strains im running. Heres acouple new pics after they were switched and spread throughout the tent.2012-11-10_00-43-31_292.jpg2012-11-10_00-45-12_37.jpg Didnt feed yet, just watered them tonight. Will feed with 1/2 strength early transition phase nutes. Once again im running a 3pt Cutting Edge Solutions Line with a 3pt additive line from them as well. They look a little droopy because the pic was taken right after watering. My 12/12 cycle is 8pm to 8am to combat the cold nights here in Colorado! and to help with my insomnia, as i will be able to work down there all night if need be. Input and feedback is appreciated from all so feel free. Thanks guys!

If they're drooping from watering them. Then don't water them yet. Also, as long as its moving the leaves around, one fan is fine. Unless its getting too hot in your room due to the air not moving around enough. Then you'll need another fan. When I switch over to 12/12 I usually only drop my ppms about a 100 or so and then work my way back up from there. Hope this helps

They drooped after I watered them, they were ready for it. They were the same weight as new buckets with no water so they were good. They look a lot better today after lights on but I fucked up and left my humidifier on and the humidity was at 85% when I opened the tent so I've gotta unplug when lights go out. Should I leave the oscillating fan on or shut it off as well? I would think leave it on so there's constant airflow. I'll post a few pics when the woman gets off the laptop, on the DROID right now. Look how self important DROID is when u type it out, lol, auto caps.

Fan ON.
Always ON.

I just left the exhaust fan on during lights out time. Ill see tonight when i get home if that helped or not, hope so!!! I dont wanna come all this way just to get some moldy bud ya know!!!! When i went down this morning rh was at 60% with no exhaust fan on so im guessing it will drop it down to 50 or less with the exhaust fan going. Atleast i hope so.

So after checking for acouple days, leaving the exhaust fan on was a wise idea. The RH is staying right where i like it in the tent at 30-35% lights off and on. My temps are 77 lights on 70 lights off. I have my 12/12 cycle set at 8pm on and 8am off so they dont freeze during the night and get the warmth during the day. They were fed the other day with full dose of micro, bloom, grow and 3 pt additives and responded very well. They are now 4 days into flower and have already started showing pistils on alot of new sites. Will update with more pics tonight when lights come on. Im super stoked how they are turning out, cant wait till i start seeing bud sites.

Heres another update on the room. So my fucking oscialting fan broke, it still moves air just doesnt move, lol. So no im forced to buy an airking and mount her in the tent. So now i have her sitting on buckets even with the lights and blowing between the canopy and the lights. Good news, im off the next 9 days with PTO so i will have time to fix the room up real nice and get her finalized on the setup. Heres some pics from last night after lights on. 2012-11-16_22-33-35_159.jpg2012-11-16_23-03-28_203.jpg2012-11-16_23-04-00_985.jpg2012-11-16_23-04-19_581.jpg2012-11-16_23-03-51_803.jpg2012-11-16_22-33-57_668.jpg2012-11-16_22-34-16_78.jpg2012-11-16_22-34-26_872.jpg They're showing alot of pistils all over and my OGs are showing clear heads already on the calyxes. They are now on their 7th or 8th day with lights on now in 12/12 cycle. Seem to be doing well, all accept for 1 BC Kush there in the front. She has either been overfed or heat stressed because of the fan breaking, or a mix of both, lol. Enjoy the pron.

I'd level that canopy out and drop those lights closer. just pinch and bend the stems over of the ones that have shot too high up from the rest. its best (I think) to pinch it just above a node.
