Nute Burn

OK so I have 4 seedlings in red cups filled with

1 part FF OF
1 part FF HF

an about 40% by volume perlite.

One of my seedlings is showing some minor nute burn, nothing to get to afraid of. I have only feed them one watering of 1/4 strength ROOT 66 during transplant. they have been getting R/O water ever since. should I just flush the little guy, I dont want to flush the soil and lose all the nutes from the soil.

I was always under the impression that you dont nute seedings until the 3rd week. Ive always followed this and never had any problems. I would flush if the problems get worse. Just my 2 cents :) Good luck!

Thanks, I have always used root 66 on my seedlings once during their first transplant, never a problem but this is my first time using FF products. Im sure it will be fine not to worried, its the smallest of the bunch anyways

Well the burn got worse so I gave it a good flush. I did it outside and when I flushed there was a shiny residue ontop of the water. Not sure why considering all the water is R/O and both soils are 100 organic. Maybe it was from the perlite. I also noticed that 40% by volume of perlite to the soil was a little much. Every time I water the soil settles and sinks and I need to add more. The plant looks much better today as well as a huge growth spurt of at least a full inch and 1/2. thanks for the help...

FFOF and HAPPY frog are pretty hot. not good for clones or seedlings. for seedling light warrier with a lil potting soil with no nutes is good for seedlings. or rapid rooters.
