Nute burn!

So about a week ago I gave my plant a pretty good case of nute burn. Its today at the end of its fourth week flowering and some of the big lower fan leaves look completely burnt up and pretty much dead. It's a little over two and a half feet tall. i'll attatch some pics to this but they are a week or more old. Even the leaves at the top are showing burn spots and the tips are yellow.I flushed the soil as soon as I saw the first signs of burn and I watered them again today with pure water. What I want to know is should I cut the big fan leaves off if they are dead and how long should I wait before I add nutes to their water again? I guess also I should ask is my plant going to be okay? All of the buds still look pretty good and crystally except for one which is at the end of one of the lower branches. This is my first grow so help is definately appreciated.

Only cut off what is dead. If its just 1/2 of the fan leaf, then only cut the dead stuff off.

You have got some big time stretching going on. Either get better lights or move them closer.

From the looks of them the leaves dont seem to be too bad. They should recover fine just keep them on RO or distilled water for the next week or so just to be sure they are fully flushed. What nutes are you using exactly and how much? it could also be too many chems in your nutes dependig on what you are using

I have to agree with boneman too. You do have some major stretching in those plants. There should be considerably more growth in your buds for being in your fourth week.

yeah man, you should have short bushy ass plants going on, that poor thing looks like its fighting for light! haha move the light closer

My plant stretched like crazy because i had it in the same container it's in now with 7 other plants that were all bigger than it. It was fighting like crazy to find light. This is my first grow and at the time i didn't know better than to do that. Consider it a lesson learned. 7 out of my 8 plants were either male or hermi. That left me with just the one lady u see in my pics. I fed her botanicare's pro grow for veg. and pro bloom for flowering. Aside from being stretched she was doing great till i went crazy with the pro bloom. I had been giving her 30 mL per watering just like the directions said and for some reason i can't explain i dumped in 45 mL one day and that brought me to my current burn situation. that was a week ago that i dumped in the 45mL. I took new pics 15 mins ago and put them in place of the ones i first put up. My buds are a lil bigger than what u saw in those first pics cause they're like a week old so please check out my new pics and give me some feedback please. it's always appreciated. Also, in case you're wondering, i have 5 cfl's (2700k) 23watt (it says it's suposed to be a hundred watt equivalent), 1 florescent tube, and a 150 watt hps for lighting.
