Nute burn or Light/heat?? (Luda--Please help!!)

I just transplanted these 5 week olds into 5 gallon pots 2 days ago and they were fine. When i transplanted I moved them from 2 4ft. 80W Florescent's to 2 400W HPS more than 2 ft away on 18/6 with a large fan blowing at the top of the plants. This is the 1st feeding and I fed them about half the recommended dosage of feeding of 24-8-16 fert. The next day some of the taller plants had leaves that were crispy and burnt like the pics below(i took pics of the worst 2). They are not all on the tops of the plants which leads me to believe that nute burn is the cause, but wanted to check and make sure.

Any comments/suggestions/advice greatly appreciated!! +Rep

They have been burnt.
24-8-16 is pretty strong stuff.
Just water for now.
Next feeding use 1/4 strength or try and find some organic sources of ferts.

Should i flush them?? And what organic nutes should i give them at this stage?? They are about 2 ft tall and i will prob let them get to 34-36inches before i cut light to 12/12

i wouldnt flush em, if your soil had no nutes it just wasnt ready for the amount you gave it quite yet. its not looking very severe, just do what the other guy said and start at like 1/8 strength or something like that for now and gradually increase feeding strength as it gets older.

Thanks darkde420 and sure shot--appreciate your replies!!! I am surprised that they burnt that quickly...not even 24 hours after feeding. Live and learn i guess.

I flushed the shit out of 'em...just read the directions for the fert and i gave them way more than half a dose...prob more like 1 and a half. Fucked them up...hopefully there is enough time to save them, or at least get some healthy clones from these ladies.
