alright, i did

using light or chemical energy it makes its own food, and would the nutes not be the chemical energy? that or i'll invest in some plutonium lol.. i still dont get what you mean, if i only watered them, they'd show deficiencys? hence they NEED nutes no?

Not as much as you would think.

i think soil is much easier to regulate. no nutrients until roots start to develop then transfer to soil and keep watered.

I used some bag seeds from some street bought and had the same experience that you did with my one and only hempy grow. Made somesthing. Got about 2 zips from 3 plants. I always get at least 3 zips per plant in bubbleponics.

Hydro target for me is 5.6 to 6.0 in veg ( Nitrogen is better absorbed in that range) and let it ride to between 6.0 and 6.3 for flower ( p and K are better absorded at that ph) I use the GH flora series nutes. GH flora series has a nute dosage
chart based on the stage of the grow ( I. E. seedling, mild veg, full veg, transition to flower, full flower)

a 1000W MH at 24inches away is WAY TOO MUCH LIGHT.
your plants don't need more than a 45W CFL (daylight) at 4 inches away, surely not that much more.

I use a 400w growlight (cool tubed as well) with plants about 4 times the size of yours at 30 inches from the plants and they are just as compact as they should be.


Yes, it might be over-feeding, it might be over-watering. BUT IT SURELY IS OVER-LIGHTNING AS WELL.

if they strech to the light after a few days lower it a feet.




BTW, is your use a 1000w for 3 plants you can grow pretty nice trees. Don't put that energy to waste - keep vegging the plants as much as possible.

Not odd at all. Different strains need different levels of nutes. For instance my LSD is a nute hog. I put one blue cheese in the same res with it and the high nutes all but killed it.

there are only 3 there now, there will be more i only started 3 seeds..

as for too much light.. i mean, there isnt really such a thing lol.. id agree i COULD use less, but i have a 1000w ballast.. its that or 32w fluro, so its kind of a no brainer.. lpants can tolerate radiant heat from the light, its the ambient temps that would be a problem.. which hovering 80-85 this whole time and on its way down is probably ok..

if the light were too close, the top leaves would have the problems, as you can see, in the NL especially, top leaves are lookin pretty good color wise anyway no burn there.. so its def just overfed them and theyre gonna slowly recover, or, like isaid somewhere earlier about feeding too low of ph early on and that probably made the same look of lockout that mostlycrazy and azgrow think.. and either way its pretty much the same process i gotta follow, and just incase im gonna throw in some cal mag on monday and hope for the best.. thanks though, but i dont think the light is really a problem..it cant be

it's not the light

They are getting too much Light for their size and the pH was too low to allow them to eat. It was not really nute burn, they were not able to eat what they were being fed after the first week or two. ..

3. High Light - yes, it’s true, you can give our faves too much light. Cannabis does not receive full sun from sunrise to sunset in its natural state. It is shaded or given reduced light levels because of adjacent plant material, cloudy conditions, rain, debris and dust collection on the leaf surface, twilight periods of early morning and late afternoon, and light intensity changes caused by a change in the seasons. Too much light mainly serves to bleach out and destroy chlorophyll as opposed to causing leaf cupping, but it often goes hand-in-hand with high heat for indoor growers. Again, back off on the light and concentrate on developing/maintaining an efficient and robust root system. Keep in mind that all but equatorial material receive less light during flowering than during the vegetative stage.

ive been taking it i just didnt think the light was really a problem.. its not like they wont get enough if i back it off, so i will.. in a couple of days once i see if the other stuff helps.. then ill see if moving the light helps, but i think its a combination of things that i did wrong lol ill fix one at a time and see what works, it's a learning experience either way.. thanks to everyone who helped me out much appreciated, and like i said i'd do im gonna come back and post in a week and let everyon eknow what i did vs how it turned out.. thanks

oh, and my NL is lookin nicer by the day, really its like twice the size of the other 2.. and before all this it was the runt

The farthest my babies are from my 1000w light are 30in.
Closest girls nearly touch the glass.
They are beautiful.
Light may be a factor, but I doubt it's the cause.
