Nugbuckets Exlusive: Chernobyl F2s

Alright guys, 5 Beans hit the rapid rooters 2/24. did some diggin around in them last night and the first two I opened had .5 cm tails poppin out, take that as a good sign. These gals will be vegged for about 20 days once they hit 2 gallon hardpots, under 220 watts of T5. around the 20 day mark, I'll throw them on a shelf in my 1 of my 2 flowering chambers (4x3.5 with a six hundo each), for sexing purposes. All males will be removed, unless I think its a female and it surprises me late (in which case I'll be making some f3s lol). they will then be topped. Depending on the female count, they will be transplanted into 5 or 7 gallon pots with Subs supersoil. I *Believe* i'm just going to top them once, but I'll be playing it by ear based on the femal count, and how crowded my flowering rooms will be post transplant. Ideally I'll just veg em about 15 to 20 more days in the big pots and shove them in the flowering room. Thats the tenative plan for now.

expecting nice things. also expecting extreme variation. hoping i get things more on the bloodwreck side, as my JTR dom AOS is great, but already in the rotation. more updates will come in the near future, as soon as they show their faces, and get put in their new homes.

thanks! I'll put up some pics of the grow room next time I get over there. whilst these are babys, i'll probably be posting some mainlining shots of other strains I have running at the moment. have amnesia lemon sixteen head, purple haze 8 head, blueberry 8 head, currently flowering (youngest to oldest). have 2 phenos of AOS topped for 8, probably about 10 days away from the flower (bcs dominant one is MAD stretchy so might have to pull the trigger earlier). they are all in 7s.

cool bro, i would be surprised if you get a lot of variation, chern F-1's offer a fair amount, but these F-2's should be a bit more consistent....look for a moderately tall, rigid stemmed plant that has very average width leaves.....she is also a moderate feeder, i would probably run them around 40-50% SS......look for early resin already at day 15 from flip....she is PM resistant and tollerant to any soil imbalances , and overall easy to grow.....shines as a 16 head....i averaged just over 6 zips between the two phenos i grew out....it is the most popular herb on my menu by far right now....

I was always under the assumption that f2s generally had a wide amount of variance, as its the first stage of recombinant expression, which can spit out wacky outcomes. I will look out for the traits you described.

super soil amounts will be determined by how many females I get, what size pots I decide to go with based on that, and finally, how much supersoil I have at the point of transplant, as my 30gall container is about half way dry, and I'll HOPEFULLY be mixing up another half batch on sunday. I stopped myself at 2 rooters and marked them. I know I shouldnt dig, but my grow space is not with my living space, and as such it can make me antsy sometimes between visits. hopefully my team and I can do them right though!

perhaps........ i have always had pretty good consistency with F-2's

The way I understood it is that the higher the number after f the more consistency you get. Ideally you're picking similar males and females and breeding for consistency...

only time will tell. going over the house tmrw with the ole nikon d40.

I just have to say this picture is the one picture here on RIU I see million times but every single time I do see it I stop and stare for a good 10-15 seconds.

That plant is like the new gold standard I want to hold myself to. Like I want to print that shit and put it in my storage/office area so I can see it all day. lol

couple pics from the garden last night. forgot the camera, had to iphone it up hehe. 3/5 RR had little root tails, went ahead and transplanted 2 of them into 2 gallon pots, 1/1 mix happy frog and pro mix, with a bit of added myko, and half a handful of EWC in the bottom.

Pics 1 and 2 are Purple haze MLed for 8, at about 12 days flower. pics 3 and 4 are Amnesia Lemon MLed for sixteen, 7 days flower. 5s a general veg shot, where you can see one of the chern f2 pots, same deal with six. last 2 are the breeding showerstall, AOS male, 2 aos females, blue cheese, white widow. honestly..... its too cold in that chamber for them to flower properly, definitly have pollinated maybe 30 to 50 pisstils per plant. probably gonna let them chill in there for another week then chop the male, give em a good rinse then throw em in the corner of a flowering chamber.



And... heres some random flower shots. BLueberry, Ace of Spades JTR pheno, Amnesia Lemon x2, AOS BCS pheno, then 3 of my fruity chronic juice from autumn

3/5 now up and in their 2 gall pots, with a tiny tail popping out of # 4's rooter, and no action at all out of the last one!

I put 5 in root cubes a few nights ago. All 5 popped and are currently in keg cups.

my room is a tad cold.... about sixty eight to seventy. I think this explains the long period it took for them to pop.

So I had the shop vac out cleaning my clone/seedling cabinet, trying to stay on top of these damn fungus gnats. Well I must have snagged the chord cus the tray I had my Chern babbies on toppled. I lost one of my five; snapped clean in 2. Given it was C5, the runt that popped last and had misformed 1st set of leaves, but special can still be very special when it comes to cannabis.

I was so mad I lost one baby (even though I saved 5 seeds for the future) I decided to germinate 5 Jesus OG I was waiting to clear space for. Funny how losing 1 potential female justified me popping a 5pack . I wasn't planning on pheno selecting from 2 new strains at once but it is all in fate's hands at this point. However, NB made the Chernobyl phenom selection a little more clear cut though.
