NPK Question?

Ok so...

Say if you have a grow nute with a NPK of 5-3-4 and a bloom nute of 1-2-5

Say if you mixed half grow with half bloom would that make your total NPK 6-5-9 ?

(Rough figures)

OR would it make it 3-2.5-4.5

i'm not sure but i would think 3-2.5-4.5 is correct. add the 2 together then divide in half?

Thanks Kevin! Legend!

Ok so say its not half strength though,

Say i mix 1.25ml of grow to a litre of water and 1.25ml of bloom to a litre of water and then mix the 2 together. Would it still be the same?

no..you cant add them..and why the heck would you mix them. both are diff foods. there is more to a nute than N/P/K

I'm with kevin on this one. The NPK values are ratios, ratios should find an average when solutions are mixed in equal proportions.

I always put some veg nutes into my flowering mix. I find most flowering nutes are too light on the nitrogen during flower.

ya been a well know fact a while now plants use more nitro in bloom than they use phos...but not from veg to bloom.
dont forget nutes drop out in ec when they are blocked by higher ec of others...so you cant just add the bottle #..need to know nutes first and how they react to each other

brand and stuff dont matter for what your doing...i dont get why the need to mi=x them in the first place., if the ratios are bad change brands....realy..organic...so the poh drops big time when you mix in water???thats the only true organic. others arent. all it needs is to have 1 item in it and can be called orgainc..but not true natural organics. labels are very missleading. and having OMRI on it means nothing. most wont because they then have to disclose their secret recipes. true way to know is the low low ph

Im using organic nutes and they are the same brand so should it matter?
It's all about those ratios. If the veg and bloom both have a good mix of micros then you should be able to mix them fine throughout flower.

why though...if the veg or bloom isnt good why even buy it to begin with. lots of what if`s i see. how do you know what it has in it. of course they will grow...but to the full potential??? some foods are same in veg n bloom but not all

No basically an experiment.

My grow has 4.8-1.8-4.3 and the bloom has 3-2-5. It will be mainly when yellow leaves show
