Bob, do you mind sharing your method or methods of ingestion that is leading to the positive effect on your Parkinson's symptoms?
I smoke..I like the taste. It's more about the strain than the method. CBd and CBN values work for pain...thc and thcv work for neurological disorders. The thcv values are generally found only in quality sativas "equatorial" strains if you will.
I grow Flo..80% sativa...
The problem I find with sativa's that others have grown, is they grow them like indicas. To get the thcv values you need high light and uvb lighting.
I run 2 600 watt hps and 4 175 watt mh 6500k aquarium bulbs for side light. Then add 150watts of uvb after the flowers "set".and that only covers 4 plants.
Most of the sativa's supplied by 'cash croppers" are put into some kind of hydro life support system, fed "this works for anything" chemicals, grown under less light, have no added uvb and "blue" lighting". are not lst and super cropped, allowing them to grow so tall that only the tops get adequate light..and just don't stack up.
To get sativa effects from sativa genetics, you have to provide equatorial growing conditions.full spectrum, high intensity light with uvb supplementation, higher temps, and co2 to make the temps work, and for God's sake man, grow them in soil..big pots and feed em bat poop and worn castings...the stuff they eat in the wild. Make sure they get a little azomite and humic acid, and you'll get SATIVA, not "sativa".
Results don't lie in the genetics, they lie in the hand of the grower. genetics merely give you potential.
