If mainland Chinese people are so prosperous, why do they eat bats and dogs?

This mutation of the coronavirus is like a bad flu case times two and has an rnot between 1.5 and 2.5. The common cold is caused by a coronavirus. An rnot of 1.5 means that ten sick people will infect an additional fifteen. This is actually very bad, especially considering that an infected individual is highly contagious for several days before any symptoms are presented.

The CCP spent a month covering it up out of concern for trade so it's now a phase 5 pandemic. Thanks to the annual exodus called Chinese New Year, it's spreading in multiple countries. Thanks China!

The Chinese will/would/have eaten/snorted anything that crawled/swam/or moved on Earth.
That's part of their fucked up culture & why they are a good part of the reason for the extinction of many species on this planet
They still believe that ingesting rhino horn & tiger balls will give them the ability to "love long time", meanwhile contributing to the extinction of the Asian Tiger & the Rinousorus
Be forewarned, China will kill us all :)

same with the chernobyl incident, cover it up till it cant be covered up any further.
surprised this hasnt happened sooner, they feed restricted antibiotics to pigs because they are cheap, the same restricted antibiotics that are last line treatments here in the western world.

also them forcing people into quarantine will make the problem even worse, all that will do it make sick people run and spread the disease further.

Hence MRSA and apparently even medicine resistant tuberculosis. Meanwhile apparently, people regularly go around murdering doctors who fail to cure them in mainland China. It's really a backwards society.

A cull always correlates with a population boom. In fact, Malthus had it exactly opposite to reality. Prosperity correlates with population decline. For example, Japan, Israel, Denmark. Mass societal strife always correlates with population growth. If one were to graph mass death, that graph would almost perfectly match population growth. For example China in the last century, India starting around British colonization, Gaza and the West Bank of Palestine, Iraq in the last decade, Cambodia post Khmer Rouge.

i think its perception, growth in which way? i think the black death (forget which plague exactly) which killed mostly peasants was actually beneficial, the landlords didnt have enough people to harvest their crops so they offered competitive wages to the peasants or risk losing their crops. now prosperity is just a GDP number, easiest way to raise GDP is more people.
