Not sure what problem is

Lanky one happened 2-3 nights ago.
Bushy one showed yesterday morning.

I looked up symptoms, still not sure.

did you forgot to water?

either that or temperature way too high.

if not temp could even be a soil pathogen. what soil where you using?

It's not too little water, if anything too much.

Temp could be, but could it happen overnight with temp?

It's Jiffy Natural and Organic Young Plant Mix with top soil on top.
(I had planned on transplanting but wasn't able.)

Side note: Most of the leaves are still soft, some are crispy, some are losing color.
There's also a bit of a smell.

Can either of these plants be saved?

looks like root rot, is there any perlite in that soil ? do you have a nice layer of perlite or rocks in the bottom of that pot ? you can only over water if you know how to per condition your water so rot is not an issue even then its not like dwc where you have an air pump you need to let air get to your roots, maybe try fabric sack pots next time ?

when its that bad they normally don`t recover you can cut off the shitty leaves and finish them as is

or take them out, repot them veg them again and so on

normally easier to just pop some new beans or take some clones off something nice

See I hate having to over value a flowering plant, get a nice veg garden going and pick the best veggers to go on to a flowering area, best way to have nice flowers

I was thinking it might be root rot, I think I'm going to try and take one or two clones and just harvest them, or trim them and give them another week.
No I didn't properly aerate, I had planned to move up in pot size and aerate. But life.

ah dig up the roots and get a good smell, if it smells like 3 day old chinese bean sprouts you have a bit of an issue if it smells like mouldy feet then its done for

problem with rootrot is it gets into the main stem fast and you can taste it in the buds by the time the leaf drops normally most people can`t taste it but if you know what the rot smelled like normally you can pick up hints of it in the bud

I would not clone a plant with root rot that bad you`ll be just as likely to transfer the rot too

maybe clean the fuck out of the cutting before hand but still

I`d go with something else maybe find something more hardy to wards root rot make it easier for you next time

not a strain I like myself as any blue strains give me the shivers but Blue dream haze, does very well I had some dwc`s that were not getting cleaned and looked after properly and when everything else died the blue dream haze still did not give a fuck, it was like what root rot, strong strain I see why commercial growers used to pump it.

So, I cut down the lanky plant and pulled apart the soil, there was no rot. but there were also barely any roots. I probably won't mess with the red pot for a bit. There is a pretty healthy amount of perlite in the mix I used.
