Not so urgent would be nice if help was given

ok, so my friend planted some seeds about 3 weeks ago, and i want to get them back because he germinated them in terrible conditions and i wanted to be sure they would grow strong, so i took dirt about 3 inches do and 3 inches across now, im stuck with all this dirt to fiddle through for a little black seed. are there anyways someone could find a seed a little easier, like if i passed a magnet over a haystack iron things would be revealed.

yeah you could use a window screen and move the dirt around on top of it until you find the seed

If those seeds have been buried and damp for 3 weeks, it's likely that they aren't any good anymore. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't count on saving them.

i gave up, had no luck. seed probably wasn't worth all the effort anyway.

Yea if you didn't see a sprout by the 3rd week.......I don't think they'll be comming up
