Not hitting my PPM with Advanced Nutrients

Hello again gang!!!!. My problem now. I have mostly used Fox Farm Nuts and always been close to the PPM range they predicated. I had a buddy give me a complete grow box from Advance Nuts. My problem or what I notice is the PPM range I get when using the grow chart I found is I get about HALF the PPM I would expect. OOO yes this is a soil grow. (got to give info ) I guess the question is go back with what I know OR increase amounts of AN????? Thanks in advance everyone, .

What PPM figures and measurements are we talking?

When I mixed as per directions I got right about 1000 PPM with RO water. Maybe the measurements are off?

I like to check PPM after adding each component and that way I can see how many PPM a mL adds in a gallon and such things. I like to convert and do my measurements in mL/gal. Like 5 mL Part X per gallon and such...

Yea I am lucky to get in the mid 500 range . I always take a base reading on water and ppm as I am on well water. They stay in normal range Base at about 80 to 100 ppm on water usually with a Ph around 6.1 to 6.5. On side note I do have a VEG grow going in back with Fox Farm and the PPM meter is reading what I expect. Thinking it may be test equipment.

Maybe a bunch of stuff is stuck in the bottom of an old bottle? Did you shake them super good?

Could age on the Nuts be a reason?? I know they where open as he used them in a grow he tried. I will have to ask him but I would think under a year old.

Only thing i can figure is something stuck in the bottom of a jug or maybe a bad batch but that would be rare I'd think.

Perhaps call the number on the bottle. lol I have called and they are very helpful.

Did anything precipitate out when you added it in?
I am guessing you are talking excess water ? Yes I use the 7 gallon fabric pots each with its own overflow pan. I usually water from top and bottom .Then wait about 20 to 30 minutes and remove excess water with a shop vac.
