Northern Lights seeds not looking like marijuana

Not sure whats going on, but I ordered Northern Lights af seeds from a reputable vendor and out of the three plants I have one that doesn't look like marijuana. Had any one seen plants like this before? This plant has been growing now for over a month and a half. The other ones came out looking beautiful. I'm going to keep growing it to see what happens, but I would like some feedback.

That's odd. That would be a very strong mutation, strange leaves are common with clones taken in late flower but I've never seen something to that extreme from seeds. Maybe you dropped a fern seed In that pot by accident haha. I'll be here for some info.

I'm really hoping its not another kind of plant. The seeds came from the same package. I was disappointed with the little guy at first, but now I'm really looking foward to seeing what it becomes.

because its not marijuana.

the most logical conclusion is that you had a seed in your potting mix, which happens it grew, and where you had planted you actual marijuana seed it died and didnt sprout.
happens frequently.

Wow thats a bummer. So I'm not going to get some new kind of super weed. I'm new to this, and I'm surprised that this could have happened.

it happens quite frequently that plants grow out of potting mix. it is earth soil....however . typically the germed marijuana seed lives.

but i assume you saw a little green sproutling and assumed it was marijuana so you allowed it to grow. and your marijuana seed died off in the process since you didnt look for it.

youre probably best to start reading the plethora of information found on our website specific to new growers

Learn something new everday, and thanks for the help. I'm a little disappointed now, but at least the other plants are turning out good. Two out of three not to bad for my first time, and this forum has helped allot so far.

Have a light dig around and see if the MJ seed is still there.

You may have a 2nd chance at it f you soak it in water and cover with a wet paper napkin.

Wont hurt to try!

Kinda looks like a very young Mulberry tree...most likely wrong though..;-)
Mulberry tree would actually be kind of cool, but if thats the case I need to transplant the sucker.

LOL, dude...That's in response to V's counter pic!

You have one of the most common little weeds that come in almost every soil made! Keep it around....Plant buddy.

Agreed. I've had it happen to me a few times -- I use my own homemade vermicompost. Ended up with a bunch of cherry tomato plants! Keep us posted. I'm interested to know what it turns out to be. My first thought was strawberry plant, but the number of leaflets doesn't match up..

Good luck!
