Day 18 - Flowering

Today I gave the plants a watering of:

16 Gallons Of Water
120ml of Fox Farm Big Bloom
160ml of Botanicare Sweet Raw

I plan on bumping feeding up to 75% for next week and hopefully back up to 100% the following week. I am also considering using the Wholesome Organic Molasses for every other feeding, in place of Botanicare Sweet Raw - so each watering would alternate between Sweet and molasses. I am getting a good handfull of 16oz bottles for free - which I have to admit is a little motivation to do this, but I also would like to give my plants a variety of sugars and the molasses has:

20% Potassium
10% Calcium
15% Iron
8% Magnesium

I will also be buying two 90w UFO style red spectrum LED lights to give a little boost now that the plants are flowering. was thinking I would put one behind the current light and one in front of it, making a cross of light in a sense. I figure this placement will get me the best coverage.

And some shots of the pistils! Sorry they aren't the best... but all I have is my phone to work with. Hopefully better ones soon.

Excuse my Noobiness,
you grew that from the start under one LED?

Plants look Great!
keep it up.

what brand, power LED are you using, will it Veg and Flower?
have you done both with LED before?

I am still skeptical of LED light for growing other than as a supplement.

Bless,
DZ

Sprayed the plants with Green Clean - 1oz/gallon of water just before lights out.

I have not seen any sign of pests and want to keep it that way! I plan on spraying regularly, through harvest - once every 4-7 days.

The bud production is looking about a week behind where it should be. I think this might be because of the issue I had with Phosphorous toxicity near the start of flowering. Because of this, I am going to feed with Fox Farm Beastie Bloomz soluble one more week before moving onto Fox Farm Cha-Ching soluble. What this means to those of you not familiar with Fox Farm products: I will continue to feed a higher dose of Potassium for one more week before lowering it.

NPK of Beastie Bloomz: 0-50-30
NPK of Cha-Ching: 9-50-10

Second picture is a close up of a pistil - apologies for the poor quality.. I took the picture with my phone through my loupe.

Day 28 - Flowering

The plants were looking like they needed a flush. I was planning on flushing in another week, but I saw signs of burn... maybe its the Fox Farm solubles..? I guess I will have to make sure to flush every 2 weeks.

I flushed them with 2 tsp/gallon of Fox Farm Sledgehammer - 2 gallons - and then a 1 gallon feeding. The feeding included:

16 Gallons of Water
240 ml of Fox Farm Big Bloom
160 ml of Fox Farm Grow Big
160 ml of Fox Farm Tiger Bloom
4 tsp of Fox Farm Beastie Bloomz
80 ml of Fox Farm Boomerang
40 ml of Fox Farm Microbe Brew
320 ml of Botanicare Sweet Raw

I bought some of Fox Farm's Flower's Kiss. I will foliar feed with it in a few hours right before lights out. Hopefully it will also help get the plants some nutrients and reduce the stress - flush, feed, foliar feed.

I sprayed down the plants with Green Clean today - blocking flowers the best I could with a piece of cardboard. Then, from a couple feet about the canopy, I gently and lightly misted the entire canopy. For anyone who has not tried this product, I recommend it!

Day 32 - Flowering

To help prevent salt build up, today I put 2 gallons of plain water through each pot before watering with:

16 Gallons of Water (1 gallon/plant)
240 ml of Fox Farm Big Bloom
240 ml of Wholesome Organic Unsulphured Blackstrap Molasses

I am going to see how much of a difference the plain water makes - I have been having problems with salt build up and have had to flush more often than I think I should have to. Maybe putting a couple gallons of plain water through before each feeding/watering will help to rinse a good amount of it out.
