Northern Lights Feminized + Autoflowering?? Anyone tried these new auto's yet?

Just wondering if anyone has tried any of the new "auto flowering" strains??

Thinking of ordering the 'Northern Lights' Auto Flowering strain from Nirvana.. but I want to make sure that these "auto" flowering strains.. actually work.. and make sure its worth the money before ordering the feminized 5pack of their NL Auto's.

They also say that the flowering cycle is cut down by around 2 weeks. Is that true?? How do they do that??

The flowering time (estimated of course) posted by Nirvana for their NL Auto strain says 5 to 7 weeks. Is that accurate though??

Just need some advice on the autoflowering thing.. never tried them before.

New? I do not recall when auto-flowering strains first came out but I know it has been at least 4 years so they are not exactly new.

As for will auto-flowering stran auto-flower? Yes they will. They were made crossing Cannabis Ruderalis and Cannabis Ruderalis is not a photoperiod plant, it does not require a period of darkness of 12 hours long or longer to begin flowering. Instead they are genetically timed to begin flowering after having grown for a certain amount of time.

About Nirvana, it's the Wal-Mart of breeders/beans but if that is what someone considers to be quality then they will ignore that well known fact and purchase from Nirvana anyway.

Opps forgot to mention growing the Nirvana Northern Lights Auto. Its about 30 days in and she is showing preflowers.

Well, I appreciate the explanation of the auto flowering strain. Secondly, they ARE NEW too me. Maybe not to you.. but just because they're not new to you doesn't mean that, that accounts for everyone else now does it? No.

Thirdly, Nirvana's genetics.. are just fine IMO. I've never EVER had a single problem with them.

But, again.. thanks for "explaining" the auto flowering theory to me. I do appreciate that..

anyhow.. let me jump to some good news! I just ordered the 5pack feminized AK-48 strain from Nirvana. I've never grown the strain before.. or smoked it for that matter. Just hope it all goes well.

I also still have my last Nirvana Ice plant.. that is just about into its first week of veg.. just about completed the first week of veg that is. So, by the time the AK48''s get here.. I should have already started flowering the Ice plant.. which is a good 9.5 to 10 week flowering strain.

My plan is to start germinating one of the AK's right when the package gets here.. plant it.. and by the time its ready to start flowering.. I should be almost ready to harvest the last Nirvana Ice plant that I have from the last order.

Not sure that made sense.. but either way.. I know what I'm talking about.. in my head at least. May not be able to get it down right.. with words.. but in my head.. I know what I'm doing.

tell me how the ak48 is i wanna get it or the master kush

ive got the N.L autos in soil right now, theyre females and are about 21 days old. Theyre looking good, for me this is my 1st grow so im still learning a lot but they are doing quite well. Ive also got the fem AK-48s going that are the same age and these things I can tell already that they are going to explode soon once i get them under my HID lighting I will let you guys know how it goes as I journey ahead!!!

I am very curious to see how this goes. I was considering NL auto, or Jock Horror auto on my next run.

i got the NL autos from Nirvana and 2 days after i planted they popped the soil. its been 4 days and they are about an inch tall already. this is my first indoor/auto grow so im curious how it will turn out. has anybody smoked these auto strains? are they as potent as normal grown? im not sure give me a heads up

next time im gunna get SNOW WHITE! that shit looks fierce

I've tried a few autos and all have been just as good and in some cases nicer than regular stuff, tho mayb that was just because it was all done organic.
I dont much trust guys selling it for profit to flush and cure properly.. anyway ones ive tried are below in order of smoke quality.

I have 10 going right now only about 2 weeks from seed. So I'll be finding out exactly whats up with this strain soon.

I have the 5 pack on it's way; however I've recently seen a Auto NL on this site which sat around 3 1/2 feet in height.

Nirvana does stipulate "Low" as growth height; can anyone confirm.

Just for the record Jock Horror Auto's have been really easy and forgiving. It's a fairly fast grower and is a very attractive plant.

Well my 3 Auto Northern Lights and 1 Auto BubbaL from Nirvana are all doing well. Hoping they Auto flower.. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Mine didnt show sex until the 5th week. Seems like these are much larger autos too. I'm running out of room but certainly not complaining. Im thinking the yield will make up for taking so long to flower.

just bought some auto NL for myself. cant wait to start my 2nd grow (1st was "bagglers"). I learned so much and upgraded my equipment enough to feel ready for a scrog auto NL grow, but still a bit nervous.
