Definitely needs a small dose of nutrients. What line of nutrients are you going to be using?

Not sure, new to the this. What should I be doing with it?
Do you have any nutrients? I don't use promix but from what I remember it doesn't have shit for nutrients in it. Let me know what you have for nutrients if you have any and well go from there.

With my white widow I originally started super soil and it looked like it was dying so then I put it in pro mix, vermiculite and perlite and it continued to die. I was told to just start them in pro mix with no nutes. This Northern lights had been doing great until now I guess it needs the nutes. I've looked online and seen the liquid nutes u can buy but I'm just not sure what is the best kind, or should I just be putting something natural in the soil?

Get yourself something balanced if your new. People shit on MG which is like a 20-20-20, but it's a good beginner nutrient. Get something fast though. Feed it at 1/4 recommended srength and work your way up slowly depending on how the plant reacts to it. Do it feed, water, water, feed, wayer , water etc. Im not sure how good your tap water is but tap water usually has a lot of micro nutrients as well. Start simple and work your way up as you become more advanced. Let me know if you need anymore help.

I grow in plain soil and perlite 50/50 mix
I grow under 400w mh veg and hps for flower i use Dutch masters gold range 2 part so a and b. I don't use a ppm metre or ph my water and I've never had any major nut refs or burn just feeding 5ml per litre as it asks on the back of bottle
Here a pic of when I started on nuts 3 weeks into vegimage.jpg
I start nuts half strength at this size

Miracle grow at 1/4 strength dose will do the trick for now till you can get a better nutrient.

If your growing in promix here is the recipe for success. Get an PPM meter. Make sure your starting water has a PPM reading of less than 100 ppm, do this by by cutting you tap with RO. You can get RO at WallyWorld for 37 cents a gallon. First feeding at at 250 ppm. Will see major improvement in about a week. Never feed over 500 ppm.

Hey Marie,

A good nutrient line is General Hydroponics Flora Three Series. Use it from start to finish. It's a little pricey, but believe me it's well worth it. Just follow the instructions on the bottles. You're little plant looks fine, just hungry. If you're in a pinch, you can safely use any nutrient line, yes even Miracle Gro. Again, just follow the instructions on the package. I've never had a problem with M.G. or any other nutrients, however G.H. Flora is the best! Also, make sure you're water is at a proper PH( 6-7).

Good luck and happy holidays.

They are not "fine", that's just bad advice, they are getting a calcium deficiency, get calcium/ calmag and foliar feed once at 2mL/L and then give recommended dosage to medium.

Sorry Marie,

"They or it" is not fine. My "bad advice". Maybe use some advanced nutrients on "them or it". I think this thread needs some CalMag.

Peace,

with pro-mix, there isn't anything in it for the plant to eat. Naturally, you are seeing that yellowing and spotting. Your girl needs some balanced nutrients. I would suggest getting some Fox Farms Grow Big and a small bottle of superthrive, this combination works well in promix.

Mix up a gallon or two at a low concentration (probably 2 tsp per gallon for the grow big and 1/4 capful per gallon on the superthrive assuming you purchased a small 4 oz bottle).
Set the PH to 6.5-6.8
when your plant is completely dry, give her plain water at a ph of 6.5-6.8
next time give nutrients again.

That will get you through veg.

No, there is never anything you can do quickly. When you give nutrients you will not see immediate recovery. You will probably never see recovery of the spots. You might lose old growth. New growth should be normal.
