If you search these forums, there is a section on LED lighting. I think its a subsection of indoor growing forum.
They do reviews on LED companies and also have a section of do it yourself builds for LED lights.

Honestly, Im ok with what my Chinese light is doing so far, but you always get what you pay for. That 300w (150w actual) I'm using is only really good for one plant. So you need 1 light per plant. Its ok to grow a bunch of them when they are small, and the light will do well to grow them, but once they start getting big, you won't have enough light penetration for more then one plant. I also don't know about quality/durability of the LED diodes/drivers etc... remember its Chinese.

Was reading your link, some ok points on there. I had to buy a heater in the winter months here, because the LED doesn't give off much heat. I also keep my LED as low as possible, almost touching the plant, as my LED isn't that strong. More lights the better, and keep an eye on humidity.

If you're going to grow all 5 northern at once, you're gonna need more light or I'd suggest going HPS to save upfront costs, although you will battle heat issues.

Cheers

Starting week 3 flower.
Much taller then my first auto, and will most likely produce a lot more too.
My other lights came in. So I'm now running 900w LED (450w actual)
Trich production has started.
