Northen Lights

I have three Sensi NL growing right now. They are 3 1/2 weeks old and about to show sex.

I have grown true sativa, hybrids and true indica and I have not seen a leaf pattern like this ever. They start growth like a sativa, very long blade like fingers. Each blade gets fatter and fatter over a few weeks and they turn into mega giants. I have a Cali indica growing right next to them and the leaves look tiny in comparison. The most beautiful leaf growth I have ever seen. Nothing can compare.

One of them has this musky scent that turns me on. They all have the same growth pattern and the nodes are evenly spaced apart. It's amazing how much light gets thru the giant leaves. You can easily tell this plant was designed to thrive indoor under the lights.

I can tell already that these plants will produce crazy yields. All new branches are fat and healthy and look like they can support big ass tops. I can't wait till I see the end results.

The downside is definitely the price of the Sensi seeds AND how many I actually keep. I bought a 10 pack and germed 5. Four of them cracked and one was a mutant runt which was scrapped after 2 weeks. Another one started dying after a week so I repotted and saved it. Coming back strong now.

The last 2 are awesome. 18" tall and just starting to show sex. If I get a male and female I will keep the male for sure and make my own seeds. I still have 5 more left over in the pack. What sucks is that only 2 out of 5 really made it ok. Another is recovering but it still isn't 100%.

When I compare the NL seeds with the other 10 seeds of Cali Indica and Maple Leaf it wasn't nearly as good. The Maple were the best with 4 of 5 cracking and one had a twin so I ended up with 5 very healthy plants. The Cali also had 4 of 5 crack with one being a runt and ended up with 3 very healthy plants.

What it all comes down to is what makes you happy. I spent top $$ because I wanted to see for myself if they are really that good. Once I finish growing them out I will make a report on the smoke.

Remember this......................it only takes one great female to rule the world!! :-P:-o

you get what you pay for!. I would think sensi has the original cutting because Nevil Schoenbottom was the 1st to bring NL in to amsterdam and the 1st seed company called " the original seed bank" when he sold up to ben dronkers who renamed it to "Sensi seeds" Nevil left him clones of all his breeding stock true NL was never a seed it was a cutting only wich was used to make skunk 1# i dont know how sensi got a true NL if it was only ever in clone form?? they must have back crossed it. I am getting some NL and it will be from sensi seeds they have the closest genetic to the original cutting even if its back crossed its very close may be even better than the original.
