North East Growing Worries!!!

Back in march I thought it would be cool to grow a plant. I found some seeds, tossed them in a few pots, and said what the hell.
Well 5 months later.....
Yeah BE CAREFUL WHAT U ASK FOR...
I grew the plant like a tomato (24-6-18) till i noticed hairs.
I've recently switched to a bloom booster (15-30-15) i used for my house plants.

Question is.........................
I have a plant and now am looking for help to finish it.
First frost is in October.
She's 7 1/2 ft tall & 4 1/2 ft wide.
the plant has out grew the ol' moving around thing. The plant is safe.
I'm just worried once it gets cold ima lose her

ANY AND ALL CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM IS ACCEPTED

Honestly yes.
At 3 feet I got nervous...
This is ridiculous.

With container just under 9 feet.
10 gallon 42 quart container

Plant to bric/groutk ratio
Plant from stem to tip 31 bricks high

Brick + grout = 2 3/4 inches
31 times 2.75 =85.25 or 85 1/4 inches

85.25 / 12 = 7.104

Ok u got me...
i apologize its 7ft & a 1/10 of an inch

Seriously.. How big will it get

lol ok, I believe u, it just didn't look that tall. CAREFULLY tie her over if you're scared about how tall she is, cause she will get taller

Yeah, tie it over. I had a plant about 7 feet tall (and growing) and figured it a good candidate for the tie-over. It was only a few days ago and the thing is already bending big time towards the sun. I'm thinking of doing it to all of my plants that are over 7 feet.

Thanx for the advice.

Being up high & in a pretty "top" open area; will the plant be too top heavy for the wind?

Also, the top of the plant split into 2 stems?????
Is that a reason to be alarmed or a sign of an origin of the seed?

thats a good thing, you will have 2 main shoots :) If you tie her down, you won't have to stress as much about the wind cause you're bringing down her height. how far down is it split? you can either tie both of them down, or tie right before they split and within a few hours, they will be reaching for the sun. good luck :)

8-16-104.jpgno its not too late, if I were you, I'd tie it a few inches8-1-101.jpg before it splits and tie it to a fence, or the pot its in, or whatever you have to use. here is a pic of how i did mine 8-1-102.jpg these are older pics, and they are quite bigger now. I only have a 6 ft fence that i have to stay under, and so far this has been the best solution for me

tie right below where it splits, so you're tying the single stem before it splits. then the two will bend towards the sun and open up your plant to more light, you will be happy with the results
