Has anyone tried a normally open solenoid valve between highest misting nozzles and reservoir/pump inlet (not sure which would be better) for a HPA system? The idea is that if this is on the same timing circuit with the normally closed solenoid valves before the nozzles, and check valved non drip misting nozzles are used, the quick release of pressure from the misting system into reservoir/pump inlet would minimise excess flow from nozzles after normally closed solenoid valves are closed. Am I right to assume that this excess flow, in addition to increasing misting times, slowly ramps down in pressure which means the mist droplet size are no longer 50 micron?
For example if misting solenoids are opened for 0.1 seconds which causes the nozzles to mist for 0.2 seconds, around half of that misting cycle wasn't at the desired pressure meaning less than ideal droplet size?
