Went to put in my order for some SugarPunch and it's out of stock :( Me cries.... and it's about 2 months out. Fuck. Now I'm debating on what to run, I'm thinking of trying some Serious AK47 since it has such good reviews.. But fuck I hate paying $110+ for 6 fucking beans.. I could get 10+ SP from Sannie for that price plus freebies. I know I could run a different Sannie strain and it would be great but I think I want to try something else. Talked to Too many fucking choices though...
 
With the exception of thousands of bagseeds I've only grown 9-10 actual strains from real breeders but I have to say that AK-47 is easily my favorite plant I've ever grown. I honestly love everything about it as far as growing goes, its very busy like a full indica but grows huge colas like a sativa. The only issue is it is the smelliest plant I've ever grown...
 
So Huel has me ready to search for AK that doesn't spit balls, but real bullets!! One think to keep in your back pocket stump, is sea of seeds. The last few months they have had 20% promo's on top of free seeds. That is when real expensive look much better.

Try a $50 TGA stump. Or Bodhi.

Was that Serious's AK Huel?
 
I have some G13 labs "Sour AK" and Nirvana "AK 48" hoping for some goodness out of them. I'll do a grow thread when I pop them. After reading threads like this I'm thinking I should have gone with some other company.
 
185$/10 at hemp depot for regular Serious Seeds. This may be a brand worth making F2s of since good AK seems scarce. Seekers of Genetic Wisdom (MI) gear is only 50$/10 there for a bubba cross, cosmic bubba.

Sounds like you could benefit from a handful of unrooted cuttings, but seeds are safer..

110$/11 reg. seeds at attitude, same price as 6 fem. Why do you prefer fem. seeds? I'd rather choose my keeper from reg., if available.

Not worried about the smell, the sugar punch stank the house up when it was 4" tall... I have a BIG filter.

TGA scares me man, too many reports of herms and inconsistency..

I'd do cuttings if I knew 110% t5hey were bug free. I planted 6 Sannies Sugar Punch (fems) and they were all keepers. That's why I wanted more. I don't have the room to do a mother and clones, I start seeds and harvest every 4 months... Yeah I'd love to have more room to be more efficient but I can't without a serious remodel of my basement and I'm not even going there, I'd rather move first lol.
 
Too many choices but I'm seriously considering trying some of 303 genetics. Sounds pretty dank and new to the scene.. I like stuff that isn't saturated in the area.

Reports of hermies all over rollitup period. I think there is a thread for every strain either hermyin' or not popping at all. lol The only strain I have heard that has reputation for hermie is Plushberry and Plushberry is awesome. TGA is very legit. When my TGA all started to harvest my patients started asking for the TGA. I wouldn't hesitate to try any of their strains.

But don't you have to grow a bunch to find a "keeper"? That's why I like the SugarPunch, every seed is good, you either get a kick ass green plant or a kick ass purple, both highly potent and good yields. I'll probably try some TGA some time though, if I ever expand my room.. I have a friend who switched from being a caregiver to just a patient and he's been bugging me for almost a year now to take him and his patient on as their caregiver. I'm contemplating it.. but dreading the work involved in expanding my room to accommodate a more suitable grow op to take care of 2 more people.. I have an extra room, it just has a bunch of spiders and spider webs in it... lol, I don't do well with either.. :) I was hesitant when he first asked because of the separate locked facilities being thrown around by Schuette but it looks like that's a non-issue now.

I've had Jillybean, Cheesequake, and Sputnik 2 herm and read of it happening to other people. I've read about other strains of his herming too, just can't remember which ones. Plushberry is just more popular right now, more threads about it, more herm reports.
 
I have a couple extra sugar punch beans. If you ever make it by Sag, let me know.

Agent Orange pumped out big pollen sacks after 4 wks into flower. That was just the one cut I had, but I won't be in a hurry to try another. 2 Plushberry plants gave me those little germs late in flower, not too full-blown so it wasn't terrible.
 
I still think TGA is definetely: Above-average.
I recommend them all the time cuz I had great results with them. That being said, I am working my ass off to find better. lol. I hold TGA as my 'standard' in mj. I want that and anything better. Same as I look at Pizza Hut as standard for pizza. I go out of my way for better pizza. If someone's pizza isn't as good as pizza hut, then they shouldn't be in business.



Edit. I am medicated, but it looks like I said 'above average', and then explained 'average'. Funny. I think a point is there, somewhere. Or did I misplace it?

I agree with pizza hut...I want to try TGA, both growing and smoking..but my first reg pack was all male...and that was just so disappointing, I haven't tried anymore...it was my Jilly beans...all male...I have a reg pack of qrazy train I have just started, and if they are all male then I quit and will never ever ever buy any reg seeds again ever... have used quite a few reg seeds, but my plants grown from fem seeds always seem to be way better...i think because someone else already found a keeper and then kinda copied it...
 
Querkle was my first reg pack and it was pretty damn good. Reg seeds fuck with plant count though, that I will never defend and it is a pain in the ass reality we have here in Michigan. That is why we get wise like Abe and find keepers of best TGA strains.
 
Querkle looks so damned good too but my friend up near Oscoda grew some and said it had a weird taste so I had second thoughts on giving it a try.
