Updated Pics Same age as yours lol i cant remember dead on how old she is but shes looking good .. i just got though overwatering it lol but now shes loving it agen now.

CFL's Work great.
MY plants are growing like....well, like weeds! ha ha ha.
what sort of nuts do you use? I am using a homemade rooting hormone mixture for seeding, then i will turn to a 10-15-10 shults treatment.(for veg only)
Might go down to the hydro store and buy me some real nuts....What do you think?

Yo your gonna need more Cfls then a 34 w cfl
Even for one plant ..
75watts is about right but more the better unless you are gonna use a hps or hid
i have 340watts
2x 85w big Cfls
4x 30w
3x 25w tubes

And you only want a couple of nutes like Root, Groom, Bloom,
Root juice first then nothing for 3 weeks then (Groom VEG) Then Bloom 3 weeks befor the end of Flowering
i use Top Max

so another light or two might help?
I do have these 60 watt lamp bulbs that i used to use but they get very warm.

Nah chap i think that a Halogen bulb .
not good doesnt really give off lumens but alot of heat
How many plants you gonna grow coz theres a line for cfls i think then you go hps but if your only growing a couple or 3 then cfls are ok but you will need alot

30w-60w cfls are the best 2000 lumens - 4800 lumens
as i have 2 x 85w 5400 lumens each and alot more because Flowering is the problem veg is easy with one cfl

Bro buy a Eco light 125w that will help alot coz what you got there wont even bud one plant.

do you think this extra light here will help for veg and then i will upgrade to three 34watt cfls for flower?

Plant looks big ...but why the purple stems/branches ..is it transplant time?

Mine are looking a bit dire, one has nute burn n curly leaves .. although gave it same amount of nutes for first time, maybe bit strong...

Got two really healthy looking ones also, will do pics soon, my babies has a bad week though, had my bathroom gutted this week so I had to hide then in cupboards during lights out, bit cold for them ... the afghan although oldest still remains small, maybe due to being an indica..

and nutes already lol nah chap thats what is killing your leaves they are burning to much food remember the soil has 4 weeks food so no nutes for the first 4 weeks unless a little root juice

and gamble you want around 6 -24w or more.
2 x 34w might not have the lumens you need for 2 plants

30w of cfls ( is about 2000 lumens a squared foot and really you want about 10,000 lumens per a plant)
i have about 25,000 lumens for just my one plant

for two plants i will have 3 32 watt cfls at 2600 lumens per bulb
thats 7800 lumens in total.

if i can find out where to get those socket splitters i will have 4 - 32 watt cfls at 10400 lumens in total.
that should be good eh?

Nutes ... I know , kicks own a$$ .. but tell me why did one keel over with nutes and not the other three ...??

Reason why I gave all nutes was b/c the others were looking ready and the three look good 4 it ...

Leave you with that thought... I am quite drunkered tonight... too much wine ..

look you shouldnt be giveing them anything but root juice . then wait 2-3 weeks then groom for (Veg) and then 3 weeks intill the end of flowering and thats when you use bloom (Flo).
lol your like me on my first plant i give it all the nutes and she was loving it but not for long the leaves burn off vell to much food as the soil has food allready in it
