Im concerned at the height of this plant. After doing quite a bit of reading on lowryders it says they start to flower in about two weeks and thats kinda where im at. I also read that the plants triple in size which is whats keeping my hopes up for my baby.

anyways..

Ok let me first start off by saying that this is my first grow and i hate to say it but im using miracle grow. I just grabbed something that i had at the house and used it despite knowing what everyone says about MG on these forums.

set up
1 fem lowryder ak47
medium MG =/
2 26w cfl's
1 exhuast pc fan temps stay pretty good
light cycle: 24/0

Please take a look at my pictures and tell me how its going so far. I see nute burn which would be from the MG but do you think it could tough it out and pull through or would that be too much stress on the plant. Its about 2 weeks old maybe a couple days short of that. I personally think its really small for what i've read about lowryders starting to flower in 2 weeks but please let me know. I already know some things i've done wrong and its all a learning process bongsmilie:mrgreen:

I check the soil every other day and only water when its dry one to two inches deep. My lights are a little far away than i'd like but thats my fault for not putting enough soil in the cup i'm using and i don't wanna add anymore because its mg. I don't wanna burn in up by adding more nutes thats already stunting it

you should transfer to a pot...that cup is horrible roots have nowhere to go. put your light a lil closer after you transplant and youll be fine

Yeah i was thinking about that but i want the most room to grow i can get for the plant cuz its in a pc grow box so space is limited to start with. Also all i have is MG soil would that be ok to transplant to? One part i screwed up on is i didnt put enough soil in the cup so maybe i could add soil to the cup and it will be plenty for the roots?

I don't see any nute burn.
The plant looks ok, and the distance between the nodes is good so your light is ok. Keep it at the same distance throughout the grow if you can.
Lowryder don't have a veg stage so they can start off a little slow but she will show sex around day 21 and will start to grow a little faster after that.
You will need a minimum of 1 litre of soil and you will get better results with 2 or more. If you only have 1 plant then you can fill the whole of the bottom of the case with a 4 or 5 inch high container to get more soil in.
I wouldn't feed until 2 weeks after the transplant. It doesn't need any food yet and it will get a top up in the new pot. Don't worry too much if you can't get better soil. Make sure all the water it gets is the right ph though.
Height may be a problem in a pc case, even with Lowryder. Try this: Wait till your plant has 5 sets of leaves and put an elastic band around it, between the 4th and 5th set. Pull it over so the top of the plant is at 90 degrees and then a touch more and secure the band to the pot so it stays in that position. It will stay under 12 inches that way.
You're using the bare minimum amount of light so don't expect a monster harvest.
Good luck with it.

Thanks for the help. I filled the cup with soil this time, my mistake last time was filling it halfway. That brought the plant out of the cup more and now i have the plant in the best spot for the lighting. I checked the bag of soil i was using and it said its organic so i think it should be fine. I also lined the pc case with reflective paper so i hope that will help too.

Just pick up two or three ~26 Watt (actual not equivalent) 6500K spectrum CFL's. You may want to even get one higher wattage (~42) 6500K light and then 2 ~26W 2700K bulbs. This way you're covered through the whole grow, especially with an auto-flower like lowryder. Should cost you about $25.00 for all the lights and the y adapters.
