sweet grow going! too bad about the hermies, though... what do you think led to that, stresses, etc., or just crappy genetics?
Not my place to call it, but if I had to guess Id say bagseed. They say bagseed has a high hermie rate mainly because if you think about it, the bud you buy has SEEDS in it, so its either a hermie or a pollinate female right?

Im using bagseed myself, but a friend is bringing me some AK47, bubblegum, and 2 types of autoflower seeds for my bday :) Cant wait to start those babies!!

very nice update, I recommend having just a bit more moisture in those jiffy pellets, it will help with the droop, don't drown them though.

This an awesome grow journal. The plants look awesome. You started with a whole gaggle of kids. Bagseed? Purchased seeds?? I'm doing my first grow with CFLs as well. I was curious what you are using for flowering. Still with the cfl?
+rep for sure. :hump: I have my grow posted as well. Stop by and check out some photos when you got the time.

if you want denser buds you can watter with molasses and water that will help also

So whats the story on molasses, I keep hearing about it all over the forum. Oddly enough, I havent heard about it in any of my grow books. Yet tons of people talk big about it. Is it strictly for soil, or can I use it when I get to flower in my hydro setup???

plants look really good, i did a cfl grow, didnt have much luck with flowering, the buds were airy and whispy, id go hps for flowering the veg nice under cfl, but they dont seem to get enough light for flowering in cfl, but im sure you will get a better result, looks really good!!!

be really careful with mollasses.

i was using 1tbs per gallon on my first grow and im pretty sure it was to much. i did some reading about it and alot of people seem to overdo it, as i did.

i would honestly suggest once every other water at the most.

What happens with too much molasses? I add a ton - oops. Prolly 2 tbls per gallon and use it with every watering

Hey man - sorry about not posting earlier, been alil busy trying to get everything together for my big grow coming up. Your plants look amazing! I'm glad you have a variety, some short bushy guys and then that beastly tall one. Very nice! From the looks of it you trimmed pretty well. I wouldn't touch the tall guy at all. The short bushy one looks good too. If it has any really small shoots that arn't going to reach the canopy then you might want to trim them but it looked to me like they were all pretty big shoots. I basically just trim away the runty growths. You have your clones in a humidity dome? Keep it up man, well done. And in the future if I don't post for a while and you have a Q feel free to harass me on my own thread or send me a pvt msg.

Yo! i was wondering if you could drop by my thread and take a look. I'm getting shifty and anxious about my lighting and growing options. Not sure if I should let them keep going for height or width, or both??? Anyhow, being that you're a fellow CFL closet grower i thought you might have some helpful advice. the link to my thread is in my signature.

appreciate it sir.

1 tbls per gallon with every watering isn't too much. If you do manage to add to much - 2 tbls+ (I don't actually add 2 tbls) it will start to slightly waterproof the soil - it makes it sticky lol. As you can imagine sticky soil isn't a good thing, water doens't penetrate as well...

very honored to be your 420th post!!! yeah ive been jus addin 1 tblsp and the water has been takin to the soil very well...the perlite i add when i transplanted for flower helped alot with the water soaking in the soil rather then jus runnin down the sides and draining...ive pretty much tried to grow as close to what youve done as i can since yours are gods among weeds haha but i will keep an eye on the soil now...can i feel the stickyness if it does get to much...when i flush(which i havent done yet wasnt sure if i should now or jus before i harvest) do i jus use reg water and like 2 to 3 times water to the amount of soil/potsize?

420th post - didn't even notice. Will have to smoke to it and to your post as well. I wouldn't say you really feel the stickyness in the soil but the water beads off of it differently. When I flush I just keep adding water until the runoff is pretty clear compared to when i started (my runoff starts pretty brownish due to nute solution and molasses).
