Noob tips

Hey new growers!

Today's tip is regarding Co2

Co2 is currently in the air we beathe in the 300 -400 parts per million range. Cannabis will thrive and increase yield up to 35% at levels of 1200 ppm up to about 1800 ppm.
I tend to stay around 1200-1500ppm

One thing that will limit your plants Co2 intake is excessive heat.
The best range for Co2 is between 75* - 80*
when the temperature reaches above 85* the plant can't use Co2 for respiration and you waste it.
It would be better to keep the room cooler with ambient air levels of Co2, than high levels of Co2 with a room that's too hot.
I hope this helps

thanks, tips are always appreciated. but...your info conflicts with info on this site re temps. its quoted here as absolute truth that you can and should use higher temps than normal, in the 85 -90 f range, because plants utilize co2 better at higher temps.

why the conflict??

I don't believe this to be true, neither does Jorge Cervantes in his book.

what about "Daytime conditions should be 70-80 degrees without co2, 80-90 degrees with co2" from GROWFAQ ?

where's fdd when you need him??
