Noob PC STEALTH grow box. TrainWreck from seeds.help?

Whats good. I've been researching for the last couple weeks on a stealthy grow box. I just finished a outdoor season with some friends but i didnt have the control i wanted cause it wasnt my location, so i decided to fly solo.

Ripped apart an old computer. But tried to keep the look of it out the outside. Im living with parents until i move out soon, so i want stealth and portability. Just for personal smoke too.

Top fan is exhaust. Big fan is non functional, can be functional just in case, but its not because of how loud it is.

The reflective material is Foil Grip Tape. Had it laying around the garage, its not tin foil, but its for ducting and it gets hard, better than duct tape. But shiny. Above the 2 CFLs there is a cake tin pan. Doesn't seem to generate any more heat than the foil tape.
Two light sockets...whats the best i can do for lighting? Right now i just have a 13w and a 20w, I dont know their Kelvins because they were laying around the house. Is this enough for 1 plant? 3 cups cause i have 3 seeds, just want 1 plant to get experience growing and get some personal smoke. They germinating now. 3 fans total. one at the bottom right, there is nice circulation going on in their.

With only a 13w and 20w cfl, think i will be alright? i dont have much money to spend on this but i can buy lights. I plan on making a carbon filter from one of the stickies.

Going to plant seeds soon, 1 or 2 days.

Any advice/Input, would be fashos.

I would get some 23w CFL's (6500k)

try to get atleast two 100w equivalent CFL's(26w) in there, 6500k for the first month or so, and switch to two 2700k. One or one and a half isn't good enough. also, keep the plant(s) elevated as close as possible to get the most efficiency from your bulb. It's not going to hurt anything unless you dont have enough circulation.

fyi, all bulbs are labelled on the self-ballast portion of the CFL, should tell ya something 'k' on that bulb. If not, if it looks even slightly yellow - its low spectrum, if its whitish blue, its 6500k..

yellow is what you want for flowering..

notice the difference in color.. especially in their reflection, met in the center bulb.

Thanks for the quick feedbacks. Im definately going to buy 2 new bulbs. a 2700k as high a wattage i can for cheap and a 6500k as high a wattage i can for cheap. prop 23 or 32. how about lighting hours? they should be done germing in less than 24 hours, the strain is trainkwreck. i saw some people go straight into 12/12 when they want to stay short, but i do want to do some lst to get the most i can out of this yield.should i do some time under 24 hour light for some growth while i do lst? or can i lst while its flowering? or opinions!

you want to LST when your vegging. I would run an 18/6 light cycle. maybe even 20/4

Theres really no harm in running them 24/7 until they are healthy and where you want them to be. CFL runs little risk of burning, and as long as there is light, there is growth.

But if you want quick and small, 12/12 is good from seed.

If i did 12/12 from seed, estimated, cause i know all strains are different, but how long do you think it would be til i could tell the sex? i dont want to grow males, i want to know if i even have a female and not waste my time. and if i 12/12 from seed, is there still enough growth during flowering stage to still lst? if any are female i want max yeild.but if male, i want to pull them.

We all wish we could just know if it was female. Thats 50% of the gamble.

You can buy feminized seeds if you have really bad luck.

If you plan on training your plants, I recommend beginning with 18/6 or 24/7.

Just started this puppy last night, havent been to bed yet.... Still have a few tweaks to finalize up, but I think its gonna work great...

@unohu69-Looking good man. What kind of light is that? Is it a cfl? i was looking into similar lightbulbs, that shape, they have like 105w ones.

DAY 2
One of my seeds is sprouting a root! But the other ones show no signs yet. Im doing the simple wet paper towel in a plastic bag in a dark humid place. Usually takes 3-4 days for me, pretty good ratio the other times i have done it.

thats definitely a small HPS, I guess he built the ballast in the power supply.

Since it sprouted it root almost an inch, i put it in one of the cups, not too deep. put a dab of water too. lights on. now i wait.

How long does it usually take from germinated seed to little baby plant?

I figure im going to do maybe a week or 2 of veg, then go into flowering, to keep em small. But have a little bit of growth time for some lst

If i only get males, is it a bad idea to just keep one and grow that for a bunch of seeds then i dont have to worry about seeds anymore? Or its just not worth the time? just buy seeds?

its hard to say, could be tomorrow, could be two weeks from now. thats why you always try a lot of seeds if you can. Like you, I just cross my fingers. I'm lucky enough to find seeds in bags of good shit once in a blue moon, so thats what I use...
Check out my thread, the males will actually only polinate your females to make seeds, so you don't want them any where near eachother unless you want seeds everywhere in everything.

If you want to give it a head start, if the shell is starting to crack off - delicated peel it away and have JUST that small round part(where the shell covered) exposed to the light, thats basically what I have done on many grows, including the one in my link. With only 1 CFL until they get one their second or third node.

I got a baby plant! One of my little seeds has popped up, supposed to be some trainwreck but the stem and is purple and very hairy, but im hoping for a girl!

I put hard drives under the cup to get it closer to the lights. I didnt see nothing til i did this. I've been watering them a couple teaspoons everyday, whenever the dirt is fully dry.
