Noob Needs help with grow Box operation

Hey guys whats good?

I need some advice on making and growing in a homemade "grow box". I was really inspired by Fractus' grow box in styrofoam (ill add a link to his thread at the bottom) and I was thinking about trying something like that out. If anyone wants to give me some tips on getting started, id love the help!

are you looking to only grow a single plant at a time?

most of the time, this can best be done with a PC box. They really are cheap (45-50 bucks) and are definitely one of the stealthiest options out there, if thats something your looking for as well

I was planning one plant for now yeah, if all goes well I might go for another round, but im just concentrating on one first thing. I was thinking about the PC box stealth grow idea but I dont really know if I want to spend the money for the box itself. I have access to some medium to large styrofoam coolers, which was my first impulse. I am really wondering about how to get it started (the seed). I read something about a "Humidity Dome"?

you need help on how to germinate? to get the root started so you can plant in your grow medium? a humidity dome isnt at all necessary, there are many ways to get around having to buy one of those

Im pretty sure I understand germination (soaking the seeds?) Getting the roots to set and nutes are the biggest problem Im looking at I believe
