Noob needs help with dwc!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am using ff nutes with RO water. My question is do i need to add anything else to the water?? I have read in some forums i would need to add calmag, is this true. any other advise would be great as well. and what is the ideal ph range??

hi there you might need cal-mag because ro takes away what cal-mag puts back in the water i use ro but i do not add any cal-mag
i jus add epsom salt and then sum times i dont it all depends...
as for p.h 5.5 to 6.4 but 5.8 is ideal but i would let it drifft between 5.5 to 6.4ph

You only need cal/mag if your plants start to show deficiency .

Just get started and be patient post pics here and most people will answer questions.. My plants did fine with R/O Water and no Cal/Mag i didnt even start adding it until last reservoir change ...I'm now in my first week of flowering.. I dont know what else you will need with your nutes because I use General Hydroponics line.
