Noob in Delware

I'm in Delaware, zone 6-7, and would like to try a grow outside. Seed choices are overwhelming. Any recommendations to boost my odds of success this year? Or does it really matter?

start indoors ...you have alot of time left before you can put anything in the ground.

You will be happy with almost any seeds you buy from the attitude. TGA seeds are all very solid, subcool does a great job breeding his plants.

You should buy a few different strains just in case one strain isn't what you like

Dont buy seeds based on a name, check out flowering time to make sure they will finish
Don't bother with auto seeds and I wouldn't mess with fem seeds just because of the tendancie to hermie

also if your going outdoor De i'd suggest a mold resistant strain due to the humidity depending on which area your in.... TGA is solid but may take a bit longer to finish in your neck of the woods... i'd go with a indica dominant strain or a very short flowering sativa.
here's a few good outdoors for that area i've had experience with.
Sweet Seeds - Cream Caramel
Serious- Chronic
Nirvana or Serious- Bubblegum
Mr Nice.- Medicine Man
TGA- Jillybean, Jack the Ripper, Plushberry.

yea I suggest not purchasing anything with a flowering period of over 8 weeks. Indica dominant is nice and will give you tight buds. Ive bought a lot of seeds from nirvana-shop.com, I highly recommend it, Ive never had anything but success with their site and genetics. Also they have a thing during the weekends called a weekend whopper, and they pick random strains and give random discounts, If you wait out you can get some bomb deals. hope that helps.

I would advize to look for seeds that are nooby friendly. Some of the strains are harder to grow than others and your chances of success are greatly increased by picking a strain that is easy to grow. That means that statistically they resist all the things that suck like mold bugs etc. Humity issues all that shit
It won't matter what your growin if they die prematurely

What is the temp range I should consider? I was thinking of my tomato plant grows, they do well for me from May-Sept. That's 20 weeks total. I ask because I've been considering more sativa dominant seeds, like kaya gold and maui waui (noob recommeneded ive read). I can always start them inside under MH in April too..

Hey mike I'm from southern DE and I've been itching to get a outdoor grow going too but it's still frosting pretty hard here :/ a huge yield isn't what I'm aiming for just a small harvest to keep me busy until the real season begins.

i would recomend that u use bagseed, dont let ppl tlk it down to be that bad, i honestly dnt think any1 should buy seeds unless there sure of wtf there doing. cuz if u fail ur gonna be mad u spent money on seed, and after a certain point, theres rele no starting over outside. i think evey1 should use bagseed until u work the kinks out

There are numerous seeds you can grow in your area. I'm in the NE as well. Try to get strains that will be finished by oct 15...you might be able to push it to oct 30 on some yrs, but thats a gamble. Kaya Gold will be fine in your area. You also might want to look at Blue mystic, early finisher. The main thing you need to keep in mind is mould growth. OUr area has bad humidity in he summer/fall time. Try to stay away from strains with very tight bud structure ie grandaddy purps. Gook luck. Any more questions feel free to PM me.
