I have a "friend" who is going to be having some fun with plants.
After doing lots of research I feel I have a good idea of what is required but still have a few final concerns.
In a 10'x10' room for maximum yield is it ideal to go with a large number of pots (25-40) an grow the plants to a small-medium size height, or grow a few monsters (10-15) an veg them for 4months or more?
Also, I have access to a 1000watt hps which I am thinking will be enough lighting?
This is using a high yield medical strain estimated at up to 1200g based on website info (I'm assuming this is not per plant of course).
Using two different fertilizers diluted to 50% strength for both veg & flowering stage, weekly feedings, pruning, premium soil with bat guano and earthworm casings, ambient temp between 70-80* F , moderate ventilation, an good humidity percentage, I am hoping for very healthy and bushy plants.
So mainly, is this lighting going to be good enough, and which is best strategy for max yield with this setup?
Based off experienced growers prior history I am hoping for a good solution, obviously this is not a hydroponic setup.
Would something like 30-40 small or medium sized pots be doable with this setup? Or what is the maximum potential?
Yield per plant I am expecting worst case scenario 1oz per plant, best case 6-10. Am I way off? Fill me in, seeds are feminized. There are so many variables I am aware of, based off information provided I am hoping a guru can put things into better perspective for me.
