nocturnal light cycle back to regular day cycles- any problems?

Quick question -

If I've been running a light cycle (18/6) during the night hours (for heat purposes in an outdoor shed), then want to switch back to regular light cycle (during normal daylight hours) will it screw up the veg or flowering stages? Should I do it gradually or all at once?
