Noco genetics..

I think it would be great to have a group of trusted growers up here to swap strains with. I'm tired of growing from seed and I don't trust dispensary clones.

There are quite a few breeders and testers around just hang out and do some reading here you will find what your looking for. Also some really great people none better than the noco crew.

I haven't heard much good about clones from dispensaries. Keep hearing about bugs and questionable genetics. Plus I'd rather swap clones with trusted locals.

So you dont actually have any experince with clones from disp yourself? just what you "heard"???
Im sorry but im calling you out on this one, you need to do better then just show up trying to get genetic on the boards....shoo!

CCC asked a question so I answered it. Don't see much to be called out on. Plus the people I "hear" things from I trust very very much.

Look man from my experience trust no one on the plants except yourself. I know it sounds crazy but you should have an isolation room/tent whatever. Bring them in spray them down several times and let them join general population. My2 cents. Rae and I have had good luck with dispense clones but we iso and spray.

Yup, Isolate and treat for at least a week before aloowing it into your room. LaContes Clone bar has a good selection but it aint what it says it is half the time. Still generally good though. There is a very tight nit group in NoCo and it aint that easy to just walk into their circle and get what you want. Trust and time is what that takes. Besides, their group has some serious elite growers and genetics you honestly cant find most anywhere else half the time.

why don't you trust dispensary clones?
All I will add is that if you see thrips, trash them. Agree all should be iso and treat. Also use yellow sticky's to help determine if any bugs are present along with a 10X plus look at leaves and root base as well as treat with dips. Regardless of who or where they came from. Hope that helps.

P.s. How did you fair with all the rain csufan?

About clones from dispensaries: I have found varied quality, passable in most cases. You have to realize the clones they are selling you are their culls, so buyer beware. You will often see a twig with a few leafs and wonder if that really is worth it. I have had the twig end up being the monster (quality wise) of the bunch and I've had them lame out. I buy twice as many clones as I expect to flower, that allows me to pick the ones that look the most promising.

My best clones have been from other sources, friends, etc.

Sucky part about lacontes. Only one day per week and they all sell in an hour or less. Also limited to six per day per patient. Have seen downy mildew on a few of their offerings (passed on those).

Try medicine man. Better genetics. Better service.

BTW if you get by medicine man dont pass on the Fire Grape clones or teens. That shit was bomb. Dense and pungent. Serious indica buzz.
