no water for 2 days

So i made a very big mistake by trusting my bro to do a res change for me while i was out of town and my plant went neglected for about 2 days. i come back and one of my plants literaly went through all the water it had and every leave started drooping. unfortunetly i got home and had no time to make a nutrient mix so i put some ro water in an xtra bycket and let the babies go to sleep for 12. so my question is if this is a high amount of stress that can or cannot be tolerated or recoverable. basically do i kil or maim my bro. thnx riu.:bigjoint:

I am strictly a soil guy so I really can't advise on the plant. But, as for your brother if it can't be revived, tell him that is his share of the harvest. That is if he smokes. If not I 2nd scroglodyte's suggestion.

If one plant drank all the water in 2 days how big is the res ? an ice cream/tuppaware container? get a bigger res and try not to blame others, its your grow you decided to leave for 2 days.

your right buds, i should have topped off before i left, its a 5 gallon buckets with 4 gallons of water and it has recovered, thank god. my problem is that i travel ALOT for work and cant trust my women to do it lol. i was in the diy sectiin looking up how to make a controller that will be connected to my phone/tablet but im not as programming savy as some of our friends here lol. ill try to take some pics to show you guys where my plants are so far in the flowering process.

I dont think it is a big deal, and sometimes letting them dry out a little gets those roots going... watch the green house seed video when they are growing the Kalishnakova strain.. they have periods that they make it go without water for a week so it becomes a little more agressive when they feed it....
