No seeds, No green-taped package, no letter from Customs. I'm starting to freak out.

I placed an order with attitude on Oct. 4th. It's been sitting in Chicago since Oct. 11th. After waiting the required 21 business days, I emailed attitude and they resent my order on Nov. 8th. That package has been in chicago since Nov. 13th. I haven't ordered seeds in some time, but those previous orders always entered the US via NYC. Now they're coming in via chicago. I know there are numerous threads about this situation. But I'm asking something that hasn't been answered through those other threads.

Would anyone care to take a stab at explaining why, (since it appears that my beans have been confiscated), I have not either......1. gotten the packages with the "Green" customs tape, nor 2. the "Letter" that customs sends? I'm beginning to have some concerns about this shit. I'm half expecting a knock on my door by my friendly neighborhood SWAT Team........

Just wondering if anyone else might be experiencing an elevated heart rate due to the same circumstance(s)? Rock On!!

A worker might have stolen them if they know the right packages to look for(and it seems like Chicago certainly does). You might just want to see about getting a refund from Attitude and ordering some when we are in the middle of the christmas season from another vendor, when there will be a ton of packages that mix in with yours. I am thankful I can get clones, but it sucks everyone is having so much trouble lately -- especially Attitude via Chicago.

I'm surprised the tude resent your first order. I thought you had to email with pictures of the green tape or a letter before they reshipped.

anyway,

What do you have to worry about? You didn't order any seeds. Someone sent them to you as a present and you have no idea why.

I don't know if you've read any of the other, numerous threads about all of the confiscations going on.....particularly chicago. But I am now beginning to think that you might be right. I wouldn't doubt some jerk is stuffing peoples beans in his/her pocket. They've obviously decided to crack down on cannabis seeds~!

unless you "paid extra," for guaranteed delivery, you can be sure attitude will not refund a cent, or replace the orders!!! i went through this recently with them. i can't imagine why you haven't heard anything from customs/postal svcs. they usually let you know when they have intercepted anything. my attitude order was intercepted by customs. they removed the order, and sent the package on, green tape/enclosed letter, crushproof tin. did you opt for the crushproof method? if you did, that's prob. the issue. when i received mine, the damn tin was about 1/3-1/2 the size of a soup can, same shape! the package "WASN'T," stealthy at all! wouldn't you think it would be a flat tin, lol??? i bitched to them, and they told me tough noogies, you should have opted for guaranteed delivery! personally, i feel like if customs yanks your order, and you can show them the evidence, the sender should replace the order. it's not your fault customs took it. i had to send pics of everything to show them. i thought, cool, they're gonna replace! but they didn't! they said you didn't have guaranteed......... i wondered why they asked for pics, since they already knew i didn't have the guarantee........

Fortunately, the attitude is able to track the packages they send out. They were able to see mine has been sitting in chi town for over a month. So, because I never received anything.....green taped package, customs letter.....I just had to wait 21 business days from the day they sent them out, and then they were able to resend. Washington State is looking better and better every day!!!!

i seriously doubt anyone is taking orders, lol... do you have any idea how difficult this would be? firstly, there's no way the same person could randomly guess which packages to take. there are literally "thousands," of pieces of mail! secondly, there are cameras and people everywhere. postal employees can get into huge trouble/prison, for stealing mail. it's a federal offense. yeah, i'm gonna risk my career/life, for a few beans! not bloody likely!

Same situation here....I ordered without guaranteed delivery (1st timer mistake) and now the "crash proof" tin is sitting in Chicago since Nov.1st, I will wait the required 21 days and then email the Tude...Hopefully they will resend my order or i will have to look for another place where to order from and be out of a bunch of $$$...By the way any advice on other places where to order from???

While Washington has definitely made progress, recent legislation in the state is fucked. I wish you the best on your beans bro. Your "Secret Santa" should purchase and have the thoughtful gifts sent from another seed bank in the midst of heavy holiday volume like another individual mentioned.

Again, good luck mate, here's to a happy Thanksgiving!

I ordered in oct from the tude. It should have come thru chicago but my tracking did not show it ever being in chicago. Got it in 9 days from order. Small order, guarenteed stealth, nothing fancy no shirts no hats just simple and plain came thru.

Oh yea, attitude or herbies, I can't remember said if you order now you have to wait until mid-late january before they will reship because of the holiday rush.

I go to herbies, just regular and removed from packaging, no issues and im in a much harder country than you guys to get seeds thru :)

I don't see why they can't figure it out. The best thing I read about ordering seeds was that the customs officials are looking for counterfeit good coming into the country. Counterfeit clothing is a huhe illegal industry. Think about it, everyone wears clothes, well almost. Only a percentage smoke, and even fewer grow and order seeds. Seeds are not the main target, and that is why it makes sence to action is taken beyond seizure. So I think the best disguise is none at all.

Umm no, there are all kinds of environmentalists, coalitions, and organizations that have gotten legislation passed (in the US at least) prohibiting the import of exotic plant species, seeds includes. Invasive species have become a small probelm over here, if customs even thinks what they're looking at are seeds, you can bet your ass that package is getting opened.
