No Nutes?

I was just wondering, has anyone here ever went through an entire grow cycle with no nutes at all? if u did, how were the results u had? Im only 2 weeks into mine and dont have any nutes yet except this MG shake feed that you apply to the top 2cm of your dirt and when you water it swells the little balls and they release the nutes. It say u should only have to apply this around every 4 months, the NPK is 19-6-12. anyways im still planning on buying some nutes on payday but was curious if anyone has ever went whole process without nutes?

If you mix up your own good soil it is very possible, check out subcools soil mix it was featured in hightimes

Thanks for the tip, I didnt put any in yet. was thinking about it but if its crapI wont. Im buying a 130g of BIG BUD nutes that should be here for flower stage but still need to get something for veg

A lot of people use light applications of Schultz plant food. Just DONT use that stuff you have. You can find a small box of Schultz or even Miracle Grow for a few bucks. Use it at about 1/4 strength at first and build it up to stonger as they get bigger. If you are on a tight budget and new to growing dont spend a lot of money until you figure out what you are doing. I got by like that for quite a while. Sometimes I miss that because I am spending about 50 to 75 dollars a month on nutes now.
