that's what i say- i'm perfectly happy with plant faux meat..but! last month i had this little birdie whisper in my ear on 5/11 and for some reason bought about 10lbs of various cuts and put in my freezer and voila! here we are..that was only two weeks ago..i'm getting better at this.
One interesting thing, to me, are the parallels between the meat/plants that we eat and the "organic" & "inorganic" growing we do. The organic feed must be broken down by the plant in order to access the "inorganic" compounds, but we somewhat frown on feeding plants those compounds directly. It's similar with meat, the meat must be broken down into proteins and amino acids and minerals and whatnot so our body can process them, but you can get all those compounds directly through plants. Don't get me wrong, I still eat meat, but....we really don't need it.
