no flowers yet. is it a male?

i live in the west part of canada and i have a plant that grows outdoors.. it's the 24th of august.. my plant doesn't have hairs yet or balls so would this late flowering mean that the plant is male or is it just not flowering time yet.. the brand of the seed is nothing special it's just some seed from i bag i bought need some help

out door has nothing to do with 12/12 cycle. It all depends on your strain, weather etc. Some of mine are just starting too, no biggie as long as it doesnt rain all of October.

i've just checked it out and the sun rises here at about 6:30am and sets about 7:30 pm so it's still has about 13 hrs of light...

you have a ways to go - the reason we inside growers switch to 12/12 is to simulate what happens in the fall when the days get shorter.
