Ok well i have the fox farm nutes but i dont have fertilizer. I have some soil from outside that looked rich, moist and black. Do you think my plant can survive for two months with just regular soill from outside with fox farm nutes. By the way. Its the fox farm trio

Nutes and fertilizer are the same thing. They are fuel for your plants. Soil from outside will at least need perlite added for proper drainage. I wouldn't use it for an indoor grow. Too many bugs, etc.

Perhaps...but usually outside dirt is great in the ground..but not so great once you put it in a pot...Soil is not terribly expensive..so why not get a bag? Try to find anything that says organic...

Read up on putting that soil in your oven - times and temps! Strongly suggest you do this BEFORE bringing in a single spade full of outside dirt. Even if you have no pot plants inside yet. Heed others here who warn of drainage (Perlite or other mineral like pumice), and BUGS! Mold spores. Goobers of all kinds.

Buy a bag of potting soil to mix with OVEN STERILIZED dirt if you can't swing a large bag of good stuff.
