No direct sunlight...is it worth it?

Hiya
I was out at a place in the woods where i was thinking about putting a few plants. Its very well hidden but directly south is a wall of trees that will block out 80% of direct sunlight. Maybe a few hours in the early morning if im lucky.
So my question is, is it still worth doing? I dunno how much they'd suffer from no direct light.
Any ideas most welcome!

Definitely not worth it. Plants will stretch really bad and you won't get much bud.

My first time ever doing a marijuana grow years ago I decided I would plant in the forest behind my house... early spring I took a walk looking for spots thought I found the best spot I could find planted the plants and then late spring struck all the leaves grew in shading my plants almost entirely... I made hay had 3 hours of direct sunlight but that was still being blocked by tall pine trees. My plants were very stretchy I tried topping them all once. Big mistake they took almost the entire summer to grow another set of tops. Tho the stems continued to grow... at the end of it all I remember I had a small mason jar full of small skanky buds and that was about it...

Your much better off growing one plant in an open area receiving at least 8 hours of direct sunlight a day. Morning sun is better since it will warm the plants up faster in the fall so mold will be tamed some...

If you don’t mind giving us some more information about your climate that would definitely benefit us.

Thanks for replies. Im in central Europe, summers can get pretty warm, 35° isnt unusual.

I don’t know much about the European climate nor do I know much about Europe at all lol. But what I can say is if you find a decent spot for a few plants make sure you have plenty of morning sunlight. the sun rotates on its own axis across the sky getting higher in the sky as the daylight hours increase into June. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Everyone has to learn somehow am I right ? Trust me I learn new stuff everyday. I am no expert that’s for sure lol
